The Technical Area – Leicester Under Analysis

After a disappointing 2016/17 campaign in which a post-title hangover dragged Leicester City down to twelfth place, things appear to be back on track at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes sit comfortably in eighth spot, within touching distance of a European spot, and, more crucially, their Fantasy Premier League (FPL) assets are once again ticking over.

Having earned a much-deserved point at Stamford Bridge over the weekend (despite playing the final quarter with just 10 men), Leicester’s fixtures now turn strongly in their favour. Four of their next six matchups see the Foxes entertain lower-ranked opposition in the form of Watford, Swansea, Stoke, and Bournemouth – encouragingly, they are the only four teams who failed to collect a clean sheet in the last six Gameweeks.

With such an appealing slate on the horizon, this week’s Technical Area will be analysing Leicester’s Fantasy assets in detail to identify the outstanding FPL options within their ranks.

    I enjoy looking at this forum and reading opinions, and have done for a few years. All good and no complaints.

    Although saying no complaints, I would be far more interested in people's opinions if they also had their OR rank displayed next to their post.

    There are so many people on here who post their "advice" on teams, rmt's, etc.

    Just like reading anything on the internet I guess, just go with your gut instinct..

            not really.

            Rank can fluctuate massively down to peoples' start week, holidays, some misfortune etc. I remember Mark himself having a bit of a stinker not so many seasons back but his experience is immense. Plenty of good advice to give - i wouldn't write any of it off if he was having a poor season.

        Agreed......many of the best have poor starts and then claw back, fascinating to watch how they do it (as per the excellent articles on the HOF guys)......prefer the view of Mark or Jay ranked 5m after GW 1 than someone who had a lucky first week.......

        Having said that, I never worked out how to link my team. I will sort it tomorrow, but they could make it easier/compulsory......which would include the need to enter the FFS league...... I saw a post here recently of someone that didn't want to do that.....well then maybe they shouldn't get access to the club, this is irrespective ad to whether they want to pay the subscription fee.....which I am happy to by the way......

      I think its the real test of a good FF manager to be honest - knowing how to tell what is good advice and what is bad.

      You should make decisions for yourself, the opinions are great as they help you play out the arguments for and against a decision but ultimately its down to us.

      I get where you are coming from, but for me I would never act on someones advice without evaluating it first - regardless of their rank.

      I think we run the risk of marginalising opinions when we start assigning them a rank.

      Well, humble brag (acknowledging there will be a lot on here with better history), I'm currently c7k, and finished top 10k last three seasons with best around 500. I still take advice from people on here as I like hearing opinions and seeing what they'd do in my shoes (especially as I'll overthink every move). What I think is important is knowing when to use that advice, and when to trust your gut, regardless of who is giving it.

          Unless cash is involved you don’t need to. They can still ask but legally they don’t have to. Most likely because they’re linked to skybet is why they ask, you can contact them and say no.
          Most verification is done automatically which is why people don’t see that.

          Probably easier to verify yourself but if you want to refuse a few cross emails back and forth will do the trick, just going to take longer.

    I am debating kun as a 2 week stay, but would be a -4 (dcl needs to go anyway). The alternative is to play Kenny. I think Everton will keep a cleanie, meaning kun needs to score big for it to be worth it
