With the post-Christmas diets, dry January and FA cup week testing even the most patient of Fantasy managers, the Fantasy Chili Bowl returned to boost everyone’s mood with the competition reaching the knockout stages in Gameweek 21. Here we take look at key events and also reveal the semi-finalists.
Quarter Finals Round UP
1. Philadelphia Sentrymen (458) v San Francisco Bulls Deep (473)
2. Washington DC Presidents (495) v Cleveland Steamers (501)
3. San Diego Casuals (441) v Indianapolis House of Pancakes (441)
4. Waikiki Beach Raiders (485) v San Antonio Ravers (479)
Match 1
The tournament’s top scoring qualifiers San Francisco Bulls Deep were up against the Philadelphia Sentrymen, who provided the two highest scoring players in the tie in Yash and Narcos. However, San Francisco maintained their good form with consistently good scores across their side. This was enough to win the tie with a total of 473 to 458 and progress to the semi-finals.
Match 2
The Cleveland Steamers may have entered the knockout stages with the lowest points total but they have found their form and ended this week as the tournament’s top scorers on 501pts. Their score was helped by the ‘rage’ wildcard of RH7 who was this week’s joint top scorer with 110pts. It was a cruel result on the Washington DC Presidents as they found themselves losing by just 6 pts with the second highest points total of the week.
Match 3
The closest tie of the tournament was between the San Diego Casuals and Indianapolis House of Pancakes that ended in a draw. Both sides scored a total of 441 pts which was the lowest total from any of the teams. Due to the tie, the winner was decided by the captain’s scores and thanks to Pirlo’s Pen, it was enough for Indianapolis to scrape into the next round. It must be a horrible way to lose a tie but as San Diego are so casual, they probably haven’t even noticed yet.
Match 4
The final matchup saw Waikiki Beach Raiders come up against the San Antonio Ravers. The FFScout moderator heavy Ravers posted an excellent score of 479 that saw gro1994 as joint top scorer with 110pts. However, Waikiki secured the win with a consistent team effort of 485pts. This means that Waikiki are the only group runners up to make it through to the semi-finals.
SEMI FINAL DRAW
The semi-finals are shaping up nicely where the Cleveland v San Francisco tie will see the highest scoring qualifiers up against this week’s highest scoring side. Waikiki and Indianapolis will face off once again having been in the same qualifying group where Waikiki will hope to avenge their group stage defeat.
Match A: Cleveland Steamers @ San Francisco Bulls Deep
Match B: Waikiki Beach Raiders @ Indianapolis House of Pancakes
The semi-finals will occur in gw 22. The winners will then play each other in gw 24 (avoiding the midweek fixtures).

The FCB Next GW Scouting spreadsheet will allow teams to pull in the previous week’s FPL teams for all eight of the opposing teams players to allow scouting of the squads. The instructions for using this spreadsheet are as above except the fpl points are no longer valid.
