The ScoutCast – Episode 216 – Confessional

I am a Fantasy Football manager, and I’m addicted to double Gameweeks. It’s a confession that the ScoutCast team are all too eager to admit in this latest ScoutCast episode.

Recorded prior to the confirmation of the first double Gameweek of the season, we were nonetheless correctly counting our chickens and allowing your multitude of community questions on Manchester City assets to steer the chatter.

Granville rejoined Jonty, Andy and myself to reinforce our investigation in Pep’s charges and to add his views to the heated Triple Captain debate surrounding Sergio Aguero. Yes, him again.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

If you’re a traditional type, you can acquire the mp3 audio version via this link or the first player below, or take in the full visual experience, pastry and all, via the second player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Should I sell Friend to Mawson for a hit this week? If I sell Friend, I play Mawson (BUR) ahead of Baines (tot). If I don't, I end up with 4 additional points because of no hit taken but am a player short in 28. Currently I have 7 for 28.

Already on a -8 if that means anything

    Cheers all. 🙂

you are taking -8 next week to get 11 players?
interested in seeing your move plans
my instinct tells me with Swansea fixtures mawson should pay back the hit easily.

            I'm on a -8 this week JTD.

            My moves this week were:

Alli,Eriksen and Costa to SAS (-8)
Could add to that and do Friend to Mawson (-12)

I plan to take an additional 8 point hit next week:
Grant to Jakupovic, Sterling to King and Sane to Coutinho

that doesn't look so bad as it sounds next week.
the fact you have done -8 then the -4 for mawson is really just that . -4 so in my opinion he should give you those points back within next few fixtures. then at least you have a slightly better defender in terms of team form and fixtures

    Likely team for next GW:

    Heaton
    Coleman Robertson A.Smith
    Siggy Mane Carroll Phillips
    Lukaku Llorente

Mane + Llorente will be my transfers for -4 that will give me 10 players.

However with Phillips looking dodgy shall I remove him as well for a -8 next week or a -12 this week?

    Options are Phillips >

    A) Snoddy
    B) King
    C) Chadli
    D) someone else
    E) Keep?

    Please help! Thanks in advance.

    I hadn't really thought about an Allen(TC).

It depends on how many points you're expecting from your TC.

If Kun only plays one game and blanks you'll be looking daft.

A couple of assists, a few bonus points from Allen and I'll be a happy man. 10 x 3 is a nice solid use of the chip.

          He doesn't score that often.

I've owned the guy for ages now and see no indication of him scoring well over this DGW. I'd say nothing more than 10pts and that's if he can manage a goal vs Boro.

At worst he's taken off at 65 minutes in both. He's the standout midfield option for City. Sane a lovely differential, Sterling had a season of returns now. Expect a big City win in at least one of the two games, and he'll be involved.

      If you're offering;
Got 7 players for GW28, before transfers and inc Phillips.
Do I transfer him out for Siggy now?

Can you just bench him this week?

It's frustrating isn't it, I guess we're not really expecting any news because he's fit but dropped

For this GW would you rather:

    A. Ibra, Snodgrass, Philips/Capoue, Foster
    B. Crouch, Mane, Alli, Jaku

Ladies and gentlemen.. If that is not the face of a stone cold killer, I don't know what is.

You're trying to tell me that Claudio 'HolesForHands' Bravo is going to stay tall and strong with THOSE deadly eyes bearing down on him?

He'll crumble, especially as he remembers the brace that he has already seen fly past him.
