“This is how the ScoutCast was meant to be” exclaimed Granville.

He’s not wrong. If you’ve successfully avoided this brand of nonsense to this point, episode 232 provides a less than gentle introduction.

Just don’t expect me to take a beating every week.

That’s certainly what pans out over this lengthy landmark episode which finds me rolling the punches after my “ill-timed” Wildcard.

Granville and Jonty take turns to dish out the blows, while Andy and Az make uncomfortable spectators.

Once the scuffle dies down, we do our best to address the latest community questions, assessing strikers, mid-price midfielders and the latest wing-backs demanding our attention.

But, for once, that forms the undercard for the “big fight”.

          I've looked at both this week. Silva for the long haul... only 2 shots in the box, though, and Antonio if you think West Ham will improve with their nice fixtures.

          For me, I was thinking I'd lose patience with both, and I have Chicharito too, so I'm doing Pogba + Chicharito > Fellaini + Jesus. I'm happy to take that short term punt on Fellaini with his aerial threat plus the Everton fixture.

            I don't think you are comparing it right though? He could have still got Bavies and kept Lukaku. Pretty much down to Lukaku vs Jesus, Tammy/Joselu vs Firmino -4. Better move long term though.

          They were good moves imo. Jesus should get similar points to Lukaku for cheaper and you can captain Kane for the next 4. Lukaku not worth the cash over Jesus/Morata if you're not gonna captain him like that. I'm dropping him for Kane myself since I already have Jesus.

      -8 isn't always a bad thing. I see them as a mini Wildcard so make sure the players you're bringing in have good fixtures.

    Is a - 12 really a step too far even this wk when there possibly will be a lot of hits taken?

    Ramsey + pogba +gabbi OUT
    GroS + Salah + Vardy IN

    I know it's extreme but hear me out.
    For -8 it would be GroS + jesus IN and still be stuck with gabbi.
    Or jesus + Antonio in but no heavyhitter from Liverpool ie Salah.

    You read it first here: Choupo will outscore Silva, Sterling, Sane in next 6 weeks. Those City-mids will get good games every now and then though.

      Sanchez is a tricky one. He has an awful fixture in Chelsea but then a nice run straight after. I can't see Wenger benching him again.

      'A hit or two' should be fine. Prioritise transferring Mane and Yoshida out and decide what you're doing with Sanchez.

    Thinking Riyad Mahrez is heading into a purple patch. Great fixtures, looks like his head is back where it belongs, and a very nice alternative to Vardy. Don't see much interest in him here, which makes him a nice differential also.
