With Liverpool facing a blank Gameweek this time round, sales of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge are picking up pace. The Uruguayan has so far seen over 73,000 owners part company, while Sturridge has been moved on by 38,000+, despite a strong set of fixtures to follow. Indeed, with an upcoming schedule that pits Brendan Rodgers’ side against four of the current bottom six in their next six fixtures from Gameweek 28 onwards (wig, TOT, sou, avl, WHM, rea), we analyse the performances of the pair since Sturridge’s arrival from Chelsea last month:
Suarez all The Way for me!!!!
Open ControlsPorridge all the Whey
Open ControlsWould like Suarez but Sturridge makes sense budget-wise.
Open ControlsNice! Let's see if this post changes my mind...
Open ControlsWas set on selling Suarez until today when I started seriously thinking about keeping both.
The article confirms what I thought.
Consistency is the only worry for Sturridge, but for 3 million less, it's worth the riskOpen Controls
Hmmm, might keep both.
Open Controlssturridge plus 3 mil versus suarez. seems an easy sturridge vote. but if cash was no issue.. then i'd be playin a different fantasy football game. but it is and i'm not. sooo gooo sturridge. hell even if you sell suarez it ain't like you can't buy him back. for me i'd only keep suarez if i got him for reasonably cheap and felt like i couldn't brave a post-gw27 terrorscape without his cuddly rodent-features to mollify my frightened soul

lol at all the pointless first comments
Open ControlsDespite seeing a significant upturn in fortunes since deploying a 3-5-2, I'm just wondering if I should use this week to begin the switch back to 3-4-3...

Suarez is involved in almost everything that Liverpool do, but he can't finish for toffee.Open ControlsAnd he's got 18 goals. Imagine if he could finish 😯
Open ControlsI'm of the opinion that he is a great finisher that enjoys taking wild pot shots to an excessive degree. But one on one he's one of the best finishers around. Feel free to disagree.

this much we know...

Thought's on what transfers I should make this week? I've got 2 free transfers. Obviously main priority is to get rid of the Swansea/Liverpool players. I've made a lot of money on Michu and Suarez, so I'm not too keen to get rid of them.
GK - Begovic, Cerny
DF - Zabaleta, Rafael, Harte, Demel, Davies
MF - Walcott, Michu, Puncheon, Marveaux, Mata
FW - Suarez, Sturridge, Van PersieOpen ControlsDid you own Sturridge though? Who'd you replace them with?
Open ControlsYeah I had both and I think you will make more money and points with him going forward. I just could not have 2 forwards not playing this week. I went for Cisse bit of a punt but decent fixtures should always play and no danger of a blank on week 29.
Open ControlsYeah that striker spot is giving me a headache. Cisse is definitely an option, but there's so many (Benteke, Lambert, Fletcher etc) is so hard to take a punt on just one...
Open ControlsAgreed and the others probably have better form. I

Choose:
1. Fellaini + Pog (No benching problems)
2. Sissoko + Lambert (Benching Probs)Open ControlsTeam Studge.
Open ControlsI am considerably more intelligent & cooler than the maturity of people on this planet 😎
Open ControlsGreat piece, definitely the hot topic this week. I confess I'd expected the difference in Suarez' favour to be more pronounced, certainly that was my subjective impression of the games. The comparison in terms of raw points perhaps flattered Sturridge slightly though - he was given a penalty he wouldn't normally get and Suarez was denied an assist by Gerrard's miss against WBA. FWIW I'm keeping both over the blank.

Has anyone watched much of Sunderland recently? Why hasn't Fletcher been scoring much recently, just bad luck or been in bad form?
Open ControlsI was pretty set on doing Demel ➡ Jevans for another hit this week, though now I'm a bit concerned about JEvans' two potential blanks after QPR.
Minge (Federici)
Baines Samba Wilson Demel (Davies)
Mata Bale(vc) Walcott(c) Fellaini (Michu)
Pogs Aguero(Suarez)
is what I'm on. I might not have 11 starting this week. I want to keep Suarez and strengthen the defense a bit. Thoughts?Open ControlsThis is all based on the assumption that you cant have both. Its not Suarez vs Sturridge. But Suarez vs Sturridge vs RVP vs Rooney vs Dzeko vs Lambert .................. vs Benteke.
Open Controlsvs Pog 😎
Open ControlsHe was in the .............. honest guv
Open Controls
And what 3 have you decided are the best?
Open ControlsRooney, Sturridge and Dzeko
Open Controls
If Cisse hits some form, I don't think I will have room for either long term. I could always lose Aguero. What do predict your front 3 to look like long term?
Open Controlsevening gentlemen 😀
Open ControlsI'm grand, yourself?
Open Controlshmm captain shirokov, this towns not big enough for similar initials 😉 one of us might have to do a bemba da

not bad, vino n pizza on the go ....... lovely
my tuppence worth is, assuming suarez drops again before the deadline, to swap out for a 1 week punt on giroud, then back in for gw28 at a hopefully reduced priceOpen Controls
