It goes without saying that the teams at the bottom are fighting for Premier League survival. Also that history dictates that teams in mid table will take their foot off the gas once their safety is secured and their chances of Europe diminished. Happens every year!
At what point do you start swapping out players from the midfields and front lines of Southampton, West Ham, Newcastle & Villa for players from the unfashionable likes of Norwich, West Brom, Fulham, Swansea & Cardiff?
We know they will all try to keep it tight at the back but it's the goals they score that will determine their ability to stay up, not how few they let in.
