The Dugout Discussion closes it’s door for no-one and a festive game between Arsenal and Chelsea are no exception.     I know cahill is playing WHam but I just feel if I haven't got VDV this GW20 I am going to be suffering.

    My only other option was Nas out for VDV and this would have been the transfer if Fab hadn't got suspended for GW20. Choices choices I hate this who would others choose:

        Its Fabs that has spoiled everything IMO had he been playing GW20 then my decision would be simple. As Nas ain't as effective out on the wing as he is in the central role. Trouble is he is now going to be playing central.

        Of course I could do a 4pt hit and kick Drogba out and my cheapie mid Jarvis. Get VDV in and choose a cheaper forward not sure who though.

          I got Tevez,Berbatov and Carroll...don't want to take any of them out.

          That leaves just Nasri or Cahill to get in VDV.
          Also Fab after next week, malouda, liverpool players...suddenly waay too many options

      N'Zog at home against Arsenal?

      I would not do that one. He could score well, but Nasri, Nani and Carroll are all much more likely to hit double figures.

            tevez's combination of hideous luck, captaincy, penalty duties, actually being good, playing for a top 4 team and being a bonus judge favourite makes him impossible to ignore for me.

            If I recall, you've been touting Tevez for a LONG time. His stats V Drogba (when he was raking the points in) were surprisingly comparable.

      I have been having an equally terrible month, but heres what I have to say.

      Play Carroll 100% Tottenham are good, but can't keep clean sheets, just look at Carroll's last 10 GW's he should get something. Play Nani defo, fixture proof. So it comes down to N'Zogbia vs Nasri. So, who will win that game do you think? Arsenal? Well I do anyways, so they will likely score more goals, which gives Nasri a higher oppurtunity of goals. Having said that goals come from all over the show in the Arsenal camp, where as in the Wigan camp, there are only two places (Or maybe 3 now), N'Zogbia and Rodallega.

      unless you're confident wenger will rotate nasri i wouldn't bench him. birmingham are hard to break down at home of course but not sure you can bench nani(just think of the 40 odd % of people that would get his points if he did well) and carroll even more so. personally i'd reluctantly bench n'zog out of that lot

      Yes Gyan is more of a rotation risk but he will start upfront if he plays. Welbeck will be on the left wing but is still a goal threat. If I had to choose between the two i'd go for Gyan.

          i suppose if you'd do it next week anyway it makes sense to just stomach the 4 points now.

          300k now. i got my captain choice right so got a nice green arrow. my last 3 captain choices that were >2 pointers pushed me up over 100k each time so that shows i need to just hang in there and get those right and i'll be in the top 100k soon.

          Exactly. Never see the point of joining those bandwagons - Berb might score big against weaker teams, but cant get you points regularly. Leads to frustration.
