      You might be able to get away with just Fab > VDV if you've got someone you're happy to captain - saves a risky hit.

      If you could do it in two I'd say go for it, but 8 points is a lot to recuperate, especially with decent fixtures for Stoke if Etherington passes his fitness test.

    Chamakh - You just read my mind. I've been pondering either bringing in Tchoyi & Torres or Gerrard and Wellbeck. I've been thinking about it the last 20 mins and its driving me nuts. I am thinking of the Gerrard scenario myself. better over the next few weeks.

      Yeah it is a tempter, but Drogba has two great home fixtures and it would be a hit. Liverpool have 5 home games in 7, i dont know what to do, its been doing my head in for the last hour!

          Cheers. Tempted yes. Just so cautious especially after Boxing day with games being called off and VDV being rested. Having said that he won't be rested had a look at all the injuries Spurs have at the mo.

      Malouda or NZog. Malouda is a difficult one as home to Bolton but he has done next to nothing for ages now so its upto you.

      I think Drogba's form has been looking up - 2 goals and an assist in the last 3 gameweeks ain't bad, and if he'd just slotted that pen then his fantasy owners would be laughing.

      I'd still rather cap Tevez, but I don't think he's too bad a shout.

      drogba has BOL AVL wol BLA. near guaranteed starts with anelka out too. If you were gonna drop him should have been ages ago. I've stuck with him but tevez could rip villa apart. gerrard is too expensive for me but could score big this week if just behind torres.

    0.4 in bank. Any thoughts for improvements? Been stuck with Routledge since the start and never had a chance to get rid due to more pressing concerns. Also need rid of Hahnemann now he has been dropped but I really dislike taking four point hits (especially for keepers/defenders).

    Would it be crazy to get rid of Fabregas for Gerrard or VdV? Tough Xmas period.

      I've just taken Fabs out for VDV - gives me the option of Nasri > Fabs once he's served his suspension.

      I'd say go for it, any mess you make can be cleared up with a January wildcard 🙂
