Pretty sure it's only on Sky. Plus I readt Atlantic is only free until August. Then they'll be charging extra.

As for Boardwalk Empire, it is excellent. One of those slow paced series, but when something happens, it blows you away.

"Sky Atlantic will be free to all Sky subscribers until the end of August, at which point the channel will be part of the Variety Pack, a €2 per month add-on to the basic €23 per month package"

Scouting Double GW striker (I can choose only one)

    A) Rooney, 4.2 ppg, 2 goals (one from open play), 7 assist, 4 BP - fixtures BIR, b'pool, VILLA
    A) Torres, 4.0 ppg, 7 goals , 5 assist, 4 BP wol, FUL, STK - two atractive home games.

King Kenny has bring Torres almost to his best. I analyzed theirs chalkboards for almost the last 2 months, Torres has more shoots pg that Rooney (not significantly but more). Torres passing is shocking around 50% and Rooney passing is better. High percentage of the Rooney shoots are from outside the box (due to Berba I presume). I have Nani and Vidic as Utd cover and I will choose Torres,. This is my biggest fantasy decision this year after Arteta/ Cahill choice (don't remind me please), Hoping I have the right choice now.

    Remarks and opinion are welcomed,
    Cheers,

To be honest it is a bit of a coin toss so i'd go with your gut feeling.

For me Rooney though, you know even if he is playing badly he will put the effort in and United are a much better side so you'd have to favour them imo.

I've gone with Torres. I am a United fan and know that Rooney will come good but Torres looked very good first half v Everton and I also already have the United cover in Nani and Raf/Ferdinand (Depending on ban news) in case 1 or even both of their games become tight affairs offering little points I feel best to spread the risk a little.

I've just plumped for Torres over Rooney. Tough Choice, but my decision boiled down to where each of the respective players will be in their team's setup.

Whereas Liverpool have been re-setup by Dalgleish with Torres as goalscorer rather than target man, Rooney continues to be the man who creates the space and passes for Berbatov to score sackfuls. If anyone is going to go balistic for United it'll be Berbatov rather than Rooney, wheras for Liverpool it'll be Torres.

For me, I need to be hitting some big big scores to catch up with oppo so i'm prepared to take the Torres risk as the dividends are likely to be higher if it pays off.

My front line by the end of the week will be berbatov, tevez and torres

torres price isnt budging , but berba is set to rise,
i have campbell and RVP in now, as the yhave both rose .1, obviously to make money i need another .1 out of them, which is more likely to get it, both are only on about 6% at the moment,

No, he won't outscore Huth. Likelyhood of Liverpool keeping a clean sheet with Skrtl on the pitch is very low.

I'm a 'pool fan and every time I see him defend I cry. He simply isn't mobile enough and gets skinned time and time again - players just run at him now because the word is out that he can't deal with it.

He is even lacking his aerial dominance now - this again down to his mobility - in Rafa's zonal defending system he was aerially strong as he only had a small area to cover and his mobility wasn't tested. Now, like for the Everton goal on Sunday, if he has to follow a more agile player he gets beaten to the ball because the player he is marking gets there quicker and can jump earlier with Skrtl's only comeback being to foul the player.

Interesting. Thanks for the analysis. It's still difficult to accept that playing a Stoke defender away twice is better than playing a Liverpool defender at home twice, but definitely food for thought.

I certainly wouldn't be getting Stcokdale in a WC team this week but for a 1 or 2 week punt to avoid playing Foster against both manc teams it could be worth 4 points.

Drogba out for Rooney or Torres is my obvious change for this week, and due to having Nani and Evra in my side I'm edging towards Torres.

Could also afford to upgrade Krul to either VDS or Reina- is this worth a -4?

I will be doing the exact same as you! Guess you are using your Wc after too yeah? I will probably get in Torres and VDS which would mean doubling up on Man U defence for the DGW which seems like an okay idea! Not sure if Liverpool are capable of keeping many Cs's ?
I think its worth the 4 pt hit to get a dgw keeper in if you feel there is no way your current keeper will get a cs

I have Wc'd and am relatively happy with the team. I guess the only question would be whether Skrtel is my best option in defence.

    Have:
    Al-Hasbi-Foster
    Evra-Djourou-Skrtel-Coleman-Simpson

I could go the Fulham option but am not really sold on whether they will do any better in their two games.

If you don't have to use Skrtel in the next GW, I would trade him for a similarly priced defender who will have nice fixtures in following GWs... such as Dawson, Shawcross, Kolarov...

Had Kolarov - gave up on City's defence. Shawcross could be an option before GW27 - will keep him in mind for the three trades before then. Ditto Dawson - probably a little moreso.

The three trades between now and GW27 will be managed carefully. Maybe three of N'Zogbia->Cahill, Berba->RvP, Skrtel->Dawson, Evra->Rafael. Will cross that bridge when it comes though.

Think they'll score roughly the same, 5 or 6 points each. Walker has the potential to score higher as he has more minutes, so would go for him. Also it means you have more FPL interest in the midweek games.

I highly rate Kelly but I don't think he will play both DGW games, Skrtel is the safest bet. Kenny has talked up Konchesky so I reckon he will get a run out in one game with Johnson back at RB.

Check the back of the sofa 😉

That's a tough one, Nasri slightly more likely to play most games but I feel Walcott has more potential for massive hauls especially with RVP stealing pens off Nasri. How many of Nasri's goals have been pens do we no? Walcott is a bit cheaper too, if your willing to take the odd 1 point cameo from Walcott then go for him.

Wait and see if 1 or both or neither play Leeds. Right now I think they are both big favourites to start the Wigan game.

I'm considering Nasri > Walcott... probably not this week though. RVP and Fabregas and Nasri are all big on playing Theo through the middle... and that could mean some big points for him.

It's very tough, and everyone will disagree on it. My opinion is that you can't bench any of the strikers since they have the potential to go mad. I'd be looking at either Nasri or N'Zogbia personally. I'd probably bench Nasri.

Big selection dilemma this week. Have 1 free transfer but don't think I really need to use it.

    Gordon
    Vidic Coleman Pantsil
    N’Zogbia VDV Nani(c) Adam
    RVP Tevez Berbatov

    Bench: Foster, Nasri, Kolarov, Nelsen

I’m still unsure about benching Nasri ahead of VDV or N'Zog (despite DGW).

I don't think there's much between them when deciding?
They could all come up trumps, or just as likely fail miserably?

Gordon to Friedal/Stockdale (already have Pantsil though) if you really wanted to squeeze in every DGW. Having said that I would only do that if you still have your WC to use.

Yep it's pot luck, all great picks. IMO bench someone with one game 3pm Saturday, so if they do score well you'll have forgotten about it by the midweek games.

Would be much more painful seeing them get a 2 pointer on Sat then have to hope for the others to fail in midweek.

Hi guys - RMT - I have a slightly different option in mind to most people

    Robinson (Foster)
    Djourou, Evat, Coleman, Kolarov, Rafael
    Nani, VDV, Fab, Adam, Parker,
    Torres, Tevez, Elmander

This week - Elm > Berba, Kolarov > Hutton, Rafael > Walker
Next week - Berba > RVP and maybe Walker > Murphy (bir)

    Rooney / Torres / Berbs

My take on it from experience

Berbotov - hits and misses. Could do nothing but then could fire in a hatrick. Unlikely to play both games

Rooney - hasn't performed all season. Unlikely to play both games but more likely than Berbs

Torres - Underperformed too but is likely to score soon. Likely to play both games.

    I'm going with Torres. Thoughts?

Yeah, I'd like it if they could make it more regular.

I understand things are a bit up in the air for them to make it regular, but they could possibly do a skype conference from home.

I'd like to ask Granville how much effort goes into it, it looks like they take a while to "script" it.

I feel with Mark growing the site and developing itthe way he's doing, the scoutcast is rather a large piece of the puzzle.

Anyone looking at a Foster/Hennessey keeper combination? Not the most fashionable choices I guess but a decent run in of games to the end of the season... (I've used / where I see thre being a choice with which keeper you play... generally at home to a bigger club looking for save points and a bonus clean sheet or an away game)...

    LIV - MCY/bol - MUN/whm - STK&NEW&eve - BLP - WBA - wig/avl - BOL - EVE - SUN - FUL - WOL - WBA - FUL - BLA

The next three aren't amazing but overall it's not too bad I reckon.
