New Match Stat Maps Now in Members Section

In addition to recently publishing the first set of Pre-Season Player Projections, we’ve also rolled out a selection of new stat maps in the Members Area.

Currently these are available via the Match Dashboard, allowing you to view events such as Goal Attempts, Chances Created, Crosses, Passes, Tackles, Clearances and Blocks in any given match. You can also filter these by any player in the match to get a view of his performance for any of the stats in question.

We’ve got more stat maps to add to the selection, most notably a touches heatmap. Before that, however, we’ll be adding these new stat maps to the Player Profiles and Compare Tool to allow the analysis of the maps over a range of Gameweeks.

    Seb larsson anyone? Im assumi g he will be on pens? O'neill teams always rely heavily on set pieces so expecting a good amou t of assists from his corners & FKs... Plus the inevitable 3 or 4 direct frees he seems to score every year

    I'm convinced either a De Gea & Skrtel or Reina & Man U def is the right choice. Any suggestions for the Man U def and goalkeeper rotation options for those tough away day?

      Yeah, last season fergie played lindegard in someof the easier games, that may continue this year. With DDG you would be sweating while waiting for the man u team sheet before pretty much every game uless lindegard was injured

    enr. response to last page - yeahh I love the qpr sunderland fulham rotation. was just playing around with qpr sunderland and was trying to find a good third team and stumbled upon fulham. all great chance for a cs, rotate very nicely and with fabio you could get some decent attacking returns too

        Cole, as I think he is more of a cert to play on more games. Although Bertrand did get game time with RDM but this was due to saving players for x2 cup finals I believe.

      It's a decent team. But It's going to be a little hard trading out one of those forwards for a 10.0+ striker without taking a hit if you desperately need to switch.

      Tevez should play, as I picked him too. People forget his end of season exploits just because Kun got the crucial goal. Clichy isn't nailed on and don't like Tarraat. The rest looks good.

      I keep flicking between Aguero and Tevez, at the moment I THINK I have been able to fit in Aguero and have a decent team. Tevez was crucial last season to their title win - but he was also a reason why it was so close IMO, I am pretty sure Mancini doesn't like him, whereas Balotelli is one of his favourites.

      Maloney for Noble. Both on penalties, Maloney plays more advanced for a more proven, creative side. He's had a good pre-season too. I'd downgrade Vidic personally, but not a must.

    Edin Hazard preseason report.

    Minutes played 66 + 62 + 30 + 90 = 248min
    Goals scored 1
    Goal assisted 0

    Looks like he is assured starter but not convinced yet. He'll need time to adjust IMO. I am not ready to splash 9.5m for now.

    Also Mikel comments: Mikel has appreciated what he's seen so far from the 21-year-old attacking midfielder so far but believes Hazard will need time to adjust to the Premier League.

    "He's a good player that just needs time to adapt to the English game," Mikel told Goal.com. "The English game is always difficult no matter who you are. It always takes time."

    We just have to give him time," Mikel added.

        Well MIkel is his team mate, he must know something right? They always need time. Silva was class act and he needed time. Also he is very young, there could be some strong tackles against him in the PL. He might be rocket but he might be a flop too. I am talking short term only obviously. Also his goals assists were connected with set pieces in France

      As a pessimist you can also consider the downside potential. Hazard is in over 23% of the teams, so if he misses just one of the three first games tons of people could ditch him over GW3 and his price could fall to a more reasonable 9.2-9.3.

        I don't think he'll miss game but I am not sure that he'll deliver fantasy wise. And that is short time. After he adjust to the PL he can be a fantasy force for sure. U r right, after GW3 we could see price drop

        But how many goal attempts he had? He was just running and running, good for eye but we are scouting for fantasy points. Remember VDV he isn't that flair for watching but he is shooting all the time and the points are coming.

        I think Adebayor will come on board. He's in it for the money so if Citeh want him off their wage bill they will probably let him got for a nominal fee allowing Spurs to spend more on his salary for the same overall outlay

    Graham aguero Torres
    2m in the bank to upgrade Torres to rooni

    B
    Kagawa Ramirez silva bale Guthrie
    Petric Graham Torres
    2m in the bank to upgrade Torres to rooni

    It boils down to downgrading kun and hazard to petric and Ramirez, and for that getting two bale and silva for malony and Taarbat

    My midfield is Silva-Bale-Taarabt-Larsson-Maloney.

    I've got no other attackers from these teams.

    My question, is it worth bringing Sinclair in for one of the above? If so, who?

      I'd like Pienaar in there personally.

      Larrsson + Pienaar + Maloney would be terrific, but Taarabt + Pienaar + Maloney looks good too. And get Graham for Swansea cover, which to me is essential over the first few GWs.
