There were some unfamiliar names on top of the ICT Index this week, snuggled alongside the return to form of Carlos Tevez and Leighton Baines, while Juan Mata and Robin Van Persie again provided shifts to acquire another wave of Fantasy attention. The Members Area is packed with the latest data from the weekend’s games and our Big Numbers article has picked through the goodies to find the stats that caught our eye…
cheers opti!
Open ControlsIf you are making the transfer right before the change, be aware that they change usually occurs 0217-0220.
Open ControlsIt was always 3:30 (3.25 when it actually goes up) except for last night which was 2:30 on account of the clocks going back . I assume this will go back to 3:30 though unless any news to the contrary anyone?
Open ControlsMaybe, but it is rarely 30. Most often 19, tbh.
That's when TotalFPL updates, at least (check updates). http://development.totalfpl.com/pricechangesOpen Controls
If RVP gets the 3baps against Chelsea then I can't see how Mata can't get 2 Baps...I don't see any other contenders...surely not Ramires? Surely not...Chicharito?
Open ControlsValencia? Rooney, though going off early will hurt him.
Open ControlsShould be Mata , although possibly Valencia might grab the two
Open Controls
van persie 3, mata 2, hernandez/carrick 1
Open ControlsCheers AB...Carrick? That's an interesting one...
Open Controls
assuming ivanovic will now miss 3 games - who to swap him for....my backline is
Ivanovic Shawcross Nelsn Hangeland Clyne....thanksOpen Controlsneed to know your keepers too, but i would say Baines
Open ControlsHe misses 1 (cup) game. Get your facts straight!
Open Controlswill only miss 1 game and thats in the league cup
Open ControlsIsn't he out for just one game? (midweek cup game)
Open ControlsWhy is he only out for one game though? I thought straight red was supposed to be threee games
They need to change the rules regarding games that are missed, its a joke that they can serve out their ban in a meaningless league cup game in which they wouldnt of participated in anyway.Open ControlsI believe it has to be violent conduct for 3 game ban and a straight red can be given for a very reckless but not violent challenge.

I’ve noticed a lot of people on here planning to ship out Cazorla in their droves. It might be useful to compare him with Mata, Bale & Hazard using the comparison tool.
Astonishing stats, especially when paired against Hazard. O_OOpen ControlsI really don't want to sell him but if I'm to get RVP then one of Santi, Bale or Mata has to go 😕
Open ControlsIts a little annoying tbh , was going to keep for the easy ixtures , however dont want to be sitting on an asset thats declining in value , so may yet decide to join the throng and ship out,
Open ControlsStats, schmats.
Hazard 65, Mata 60, Bale 50, Cazorla 46.
Plus, there's the 'Arsenal' thing working against him.Open ControlsThere's definately potential in Cazorla. He's been unlucky, don't you agree? The situation reminds me a bit of Mata & Bale GW's 1-3. Stats were there, end product wasn't.
He will come good... Hopefully *Gulp*Open ControlsSome say the same for Torres.
And I own Santi ... though I truly wish I didn't.Open Controls
watch the games
Open Controls🙂
Open Controls
Captain Bale on for full boner?
Open ControlsHazard, Michu or Barfa out for Mata? And should I be bringing in Mata when I have Ba, Berbs and Gibbs who are all doubts?
Open ControlsLadies who to replace jenkinson with? Have 5.1 to spend. Currently thinking Mertesacker. Is he nailed on?
Open ControlsDo you like Sterling, Maloney or Taraabt for my cheapest midfielder? Will basically be sharing the bench spot with pienaar, michu & berbatov
Open ControlsSterling, but at this stage you'd nearly be able to play him every week. Maloney is a player you'd be more comfortable benching.
Open ControlsTrue. I don't mind a bit of a benching dilemma though. Hands on management is good for the soul 😀
Open Controls
I say it's very close between Sterling and maloney. Sterling is even more important to pool attack. Surprisingly good goal involvement at his price bracket.
Open ControlsCheers. I do like Maloney's fixture dependant predictability. Had him earlier and at the end of last season and he's done well by me. However it is rare that my brain agrees with my heart in getting a red. Think I'll go Raheem 🙂
Open ControlsHe's this year's McClean. Except playing more advanced, infinitely more talented and playing for a higher scoring team.
Open Controls
I can add Gera to that list I suppose. My Hungarian ancestors would be proud 🙂
Open ControlsSaw Sterling on MoTD that lad is very good indeed....
Open ControlsIndeed

Morning guys (according to my time zone)
Decent haul so far without BAPs need a quick RMT before Mata rises again
Foster | Begovic
Demel | Baines | Rafael | Wilson* | Hughes
Bale | Cazorla | Sterling | Peanut | Nolan*
RVP | Berba* | Lambert*
There are 4 players i'm worried about. Wilson and Berba are less worries cause i can ship Wilson out next GW while Berba seem fine with the injury. Lambert is going down and West Ham fixtures are crap.
2 FT, 0.7 in the bank.
Nolan > Morrison
Lambert > ???
Advise? would love to have ba or mata..Open ControlsPrice changes tonight in less than an hour (2.17am BST)
Risers: Mata, Baird, Morrison, McCarthy, Begovic (slight chance)
Fallers: Torres, Hill, CarruthersOpen ControlsSorry, 2.17am GMT.
Open ControlsWhen I bought Riise...little did I know I was buying perhaps the wrong 'attacking-minded Fulham defender' 😀
I still think Baird will probably never score again this year...he does however offer good value if he stays in the team and plays OOP.
I'm still feeling a bit meh about Morrison...I'm not sure I trust him to deliver just because of the good fixtures...mind you he has done well so far.Open ControlsStick with Riise he is one of the best FPL fullbacks available, let alone midpriced.
Bottom line with Morrison is that if Brom score he is favourite to assist. And 3rd favourite to score.Open ControlsThat's it really...I just don't know whether I see many goals for WBA in their favourable fixtures...it's an easy trap to fall into...viewing oppositions as being weak against any side...if you get me. As in SOT wig...looks ideal...but it's not like WBA are Chelsea...I can see why Morisson is a good option but I'm worried he might let me down...as those fixtures could easily just be hard fought draws with Dorrans or Mulumbu scoring! 😀

Anyone playing the demo of footbal manager 2013? was released today
Open Controlswill do now!! didnt know it was out :O
Open ControlsYes, Triggerlips. It is beautiful. Been playing since good ol' CM.
What are you doing about Cazorla? Thinking about shipping for Bale, myself. If not I will do something about Lambert/Clark. Koné, Ruiz/Nelsen, Davies are all viable options.
Nice team.Open ControlsIm thinking Bale , i have two frees and nothing needs attending to
Only downside is Bales fixtures then become difficuly\t while cazolas ease up, but could be worth it just for next week
Cant think of any other midfielders really , too sooon for Silva , Valencia a maybe but not nailed on . I lots of money but nothing to spend it onOpen Controls
it said mine would take three hours but it was finihed in fifteen minutes

After first consecutive below average gameweek I took my first hit and panic transfer:
Yaya > Oscar
Torres > Tevez
Only to realize there's a Capital One matches this week -____-
Anyway, who would you play?
A. Oscar (swa)
B. Michu (CHE)
C. Pienaar (ful)
D. Lambert (wba)
Cheers!Open ControlsHow knee jerk is Baird and Mata in for Ivano and HBA? 2 FT w potential to take a hit for Lambert to Berba later in week, depending on midweek news.
Open Controlsdo it. Need Mata or Hazard. Mata is the cheaper one. Go for IT
Open ControlsThat not kneejerk , it common sense
Open ControlsNot sure about HBA, tbh. Kind of agree with Granville.
"Ben Arfa is playing really well. Newcastle are so attacking, it's crazy not to have HBA or Ba." (@FFScout_Granny)Open ControlsYou should check out Hughes. Read something on Chris Glover's site that he had the best attacking stats in the Fulham defence. Would be my choice, anyway.
Open Controls
Jussi (Fed)
Cuellar A.Cole Demel Ridgewell Clyne
Hazard Santi Pienaar Sterling Nolan
RVP Tevez Berba
One FT -0.4 in bank
Which transfer first?
A) Hazard to Mata (to free up funds)
B) Fed to Bego (Exact cash for this, must do it now)
C) Santi to Bale (means no ARS coverage)
D) Leave it.
Please help! Lost on last page. One voted for B. Anyone else? Thanks!!Open ControlsNailed on would be the wrong term with Koscielny always there...I would say that he's more 'stapled on' for now....
Open Controls
Does the Americans not turn their clock back one hour?
Open ControlsHas anyone got video of Baird's goal celebration?
Open ControlsI don't know if this sounds a bit dumb but I think Cazorla being suddenly unpopular actually might mean he ends up as a huge differential over the coming months. I can't see people scrambling to get him back in but if he does find his feet and form again and deliver consistently...he could be the ultimate differential...or do you think an explosive score will suddenly have people scrambling to get him again? It's really hard to distinguish what the masses think about him and what FFS thinks...as before Norwich he was almost universally revered on here.
Open Controlsmy honest opinion is that he is a season keeper,
hes got united next week, and the fact is that DDG is a great shot stopper but struggles with long shots! Reckon Santi will score if given a bit of sspace, hes got a great long distance shot on himOpen ControlsA great shot stopper who struggles with long shots?
😯Open Controls
Anyone that gets explosive score will be bought on mass. A popular player for a popular team even more so. Seems people forget we get a free trade every week. There's nothing wrong with selling a player then getting him back a few weeks later. I'll probably sell him but with his fixtures compared he could come back in for gareth very soon if arsenal find form again
Open Controls*compared to tottenham's
Open Controls
Seriously considering Cazorla > Mata. Anyone wants to push me over the edge?
Foster | Begovic
Demel | Baines | Rafael | Wilson | Hughes
Bale | Cazorla | Sterling | Peanut | Nolan
RVP | Berba | LambertOpen ControlsJust realized that Baines has the same ATTACKING returns as Santi. Has to be as close to essential as a high priced player can be.
Open ControlsAlternatively Cazorla has the attacking returns of a defender 😉
But yes, Baines is a machine. Big lack of cs though recently. Plays at LW pretty much to compensate.Open Controls
Valencia, Young, Nani. Talk to me...
Open ControlsValencia.
Young = no & Nani = never.Open ControlsPretty much what I thought. Unfortunately in FPL terms Valencia lacks value to me. You see any way he will get the gametime and points to justify the price?
I'm targeting an assist a game at that price.Open ControlsOh, he'll get the gametime. TVal is as nailed-on as Rooney.
But @ 4 assists in 6 starts, I'm not sure if he's going to be what you want. RVP is United offensive cover ... TVal would be next-best choice, and their fixtures are sweeet after Arse.
I don't own him, fwiw, as a Utd guy.Open Controlsyeah I think he's off the radar for a reason.
Isn't his gametime determined by whether united play their diamond, as the shuttlers Cleverley and Kags replace the wingers? Considering of course after Kags returns.
And even in the 4-2-3-1 if Kags and Rooney play that could leave no space for Val?
I think he should be playing every game, but the tactical tinkering precludes this.Open Controls
None of the above. Rotation risks and output don't match the cost.
I could see the appeal of Valencia with the fixtures, but I think you can get a similar package (assists only type of player) for better value from other sources.Open ControlsYep, Pienaar, Morrison, heck, Fellaini. Val has a bit more goal threat than given credit for though. Although his late shot was awful today.
Open Controls
I think they're easy to be seduced by...but less so this season with Man Utd changing formations and the fact that you can only play 2 wingers at a time means rotation....picking the right one is pretty hard in that case. I suppose Valencia is the most nailed on...but is a steady 1 assist a game (which is what he generally offers) good enough for his price? He looks so appealing and I loved owning him last year...but...you just wonder is it worth it if you already have RVP
Open Controls
Whats with all the Morrison love? Not watched WBA this season , has he suddenly become good?
Open ControlsHe's good value at his price...and I think people are loving the look of their next 2 fixtures. His returns in past seasons are pretty tame...but he's already matched those so perhaps he is suddenly thriving on a new system under Clarke...I'm remaining skeptical...he is decent value though at that price no doubt.
Open ControlsCant decide who to get for carzola , have 11 m to spend
seems kind of lame to bring in morrison , same with QPR mids , they too cheap, i wish Silva was playing because there not much else.
Maybe will just have to swap to BaleOpen ControlsWhat about KEEPING Cazorla?
Surely patience has been key so far. What's no to love about Cazorla? Good fixtures, stats to back him up and could only improve as an FPL asset.Open ControlsHe may be the kind of mid that suits the stats perfectly but not FPL scoring. A bit bizarre I'll grant you, but perhaps skip through some arsenal games and give him a watch.

I probably don't monitor price changes as much as I should as I usually wait until at least after mid week games. So remind me what time do they usually happen?
