Monitor – Olivier Giroud

Having started each of Arsenal’s last five league matches, there seems to be no question that Olivier Giroud is currently Arsene Wenger’s number one forward. While Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski have both made claims for a central role, the Gunners boss is clearly determined to afford his compatriot regular game time and, with his confidence flourishing, Giroud is beginning to deliver:

A double against Fulham at the weekend was the first time the former Montpellier man has scored at the Emirates this season and post-match, Giroud revealed his self-belief never wavered, in spite of his scoring drought:

“I feel better and better. I’m confident about my qualities. I never give up. When I didn’t score at the beginning of the season I stayed confident and always worked on my mind and my game. It’s not a surprise for me [his good form]. I want to play a lot of good games like tonight to succeed [and] to win a lot of games with my new club. I have to score and continue [to do so].”

  I bet it's not the most popular, but I would pick Ba. I still think Fulham will struggle through their tough fixtures, I don't believe they're as good as they've been. Giroud has potential but I still don't totally trust him.

    fulham have new, tot, sun @ home. those are goooood fixtures for goals, not bad. chelsea away is maybe too hard for them to win but not too hard for berba to score. stoke away is only hard in next 5 and even that is not too hard for super-batov to score

  I suggest Berb, he plays in a better system and he gets assists. Plus he is trying to make a point to SAF. I like having talent with motivation. End of the year I expect him to be above Suarez, Ba and Giroud in FFpoints. Picked Tevez to start the year because he lost weight, a sign he was motivated to prove his value to the Mancini. He's falling off now but he was good to start the season.

Need some serious help with my midfield guys

begovic (mannone)
rafael baines demel davies cueller
pienaar nasri michu morrison cazorla
rvp ba berba

have 1FT and 0.7m in the bank. So here are my options:
A: pienaar and nasri >>> fellaini + sterling + 4 points....sterling is good value but i think nasri might have a good game against villa

B: pienaar + morrison >>> fellaini + sterling + 4 points

C: ba + cazorla >>> giroud + mata....ba has potential but giroud is having good stats

D: nasri + michu >> silva/mata + sterling + 4 points

E: save the transfer

Basically confused on whether to bring in fellaini or not...great form but is he worth a hit to bring in a hit and with 4 yellows? also, which midfielder should i get rid of (along with nasri)....

    Ok, as Manchester is even further away from Argentina than Madrid, he won't play in Argentina then 😉 so not impossible for Aguero to start both this and next GW in premier league then.
