Maybe I underestimated Granville. Maybe his throwaway comment made at 10.32 on a weary Wednesday evening wasn’t throwaway at all. Maybe Granville is a Fantasy football mind games genius.

Regardless of whether his plan was pre-meditated and devious, it certainly worked as you’ll find out in this, episode ninety of the ScoutCast.

Aside from my sidekick’s scheming, we give dear old Leighton another rinse following his twanged hamstring, tackle the template midfield yet again, check on the market movements in “all aboard” and, of course, look forward to the weekend action. We also start spending points on the ScoutCast team: it’s the slippery slope. Where’s Granville’s genius when you need it?

              While City can keep clean sheets against anyone, their next 2 games aren't the best. How about Silva and Baines to Bale and Enrique then get Nasty in GW17? Would give you time to someone else without taking a hit. Maybe Taraabt to someone that hasn't always been a let down.

        Liverpool are just too poor for me to warrant heavy investment. Sterling the young wonder, Enrique that far forward, it all seems like desperation in order to mask their enormous frailties as a team. If he was good enough as an attacker he wouldn't be a defender.

      enriquie is just flavour of the week, im not going to buy him, he's not nailed on to play and he costs too much, nastasic, azpilcueta, caulker, mertesacker are all cheaper than him and all play for better teams too

      Um..not as simple as that really. If you got Mata for below 9m you'd be reluctant to say goodbye so quickly. And it's truly astonishing he has been benched this many times in reality. I mean no-one expected it last night. Same goes for Tevez...and when a player gets the odd 19 points it's worth holding onto him for a bit...I can understand the rationale.

        No it's not. We just have a bug that cropped up yesterday - the ticker is showing GW16 as the next gameweek and not 15.

        I thought it best to remove as it could mislead folk.

        We are working on a fix and hope to have it back for all tomorrow morning.

        The Members Area ticker uses different code and is unaffected but the free ticker will be back.
