Merry Christmas From Fantasy Football Scout!

On this crispy Tuesday morning, I’d like to extend a very Merry Christmas from myself and all of those involved in Fantasy Football Scout! Yes it even calls for the use of a cheesy exclamation mark (shudder). Seriously though, best wishes to you all and your families.

Of course, I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank-you for your superb support over the past year, although I’ll save the sentimental stuff and yearly round-up for the New Year message.

For now, I’ll leave you with some exciting news – as we prepare two new key features to be rolled out in just over a week, in preparation for the January Wildcards. Later today we’ll be previewing one of those features, a Fantasy Football Scout community ranking table that will have a version available for members and non-members alike. Come back to us once the Queen has done with her message later today. Merry Christmas!

    Some advice wanted please,

    I have a strong feeling Villa/Tot will be a tight game with few goals. Possibly 1-1. I'd imagine that the Villa players after getting embarrassed will want to make a strong statement in front of their home fans.

    Do you agree?

    Because of this thought I am reluctant to do Silva > Bale this week... especially for a hit. I do think he will score more than Silva over the season and want him in, so should I just do it??

          I think a lot of people will be leaning towards (b).

          High pressure choice though as Michu does return 2 points every now and then, and Reading did seem to perk up a bit last time out against MCI.

        only two small decisions for me for tomorrow:

        1. defence: do I play Morrison[SWA] or Bassong[CHE] - both goal threats. Neither that likely for a CS.

        2. midfield: do I play Morrison[qpr] or Sessegnon[MCI] - Morr done nowt for weeks but maybe will be back in attack position tomorrow. Sess seems kind of on a roll here.

        I am leaning towards Bassong/Sessegnon.

        Captain pick is going to be Michu or RvP I think.

        Strange feeling for me to be saving my FT for next GW, having been very close to playing my WC and changing 13 of my 15 as close as two weeks ago.

        Resurgence of Pienaar and Sess suddenly coming online has been amazing for me.

        If Berbasloth does the same this week I am going to be struggling to find more than 4 transfers to make with my Jan WC!!!

            i managed to save one a couple of times early in the season.

            This GW I am tempted to get rid of BOYCE for a 4.9 defender, but there is no-one really screaming at me that would be definitely much better than Bassong or Morrisoin, so I will probably leave it.

            If anyone can come up with a 4.9 they think will do really well this week, let me know!!

          watched ESPN FC Presspass recently and Shaka Hislop said City were 'far too narrow' against Reading and the Royals did struggle against Arsenal's 'width' the game before. Didn't watch the READ-ARS game so couldn't be so sure if it's true.

          The question is, do you reckon Reading can cope with Swansea's game play and attacking style or not? If they are likely to struggle, then Michu (c) would be even more tempting.

            I have layed Swansea on Betfair,as Reading have only lost to ; MU, Ars and Spurs at home this season. They have beaten Everton at home too this season. They really tightened up against City, and there home form,although not great is not as bad as their away form. Home 7 pts from 24 pts. Away 2pts from 30 pts. Hope this helps mate?
