Merry Christmas From Fantasy Football Scout!

On this crispy Tuesday morning, I’d like to extend a very Merry Christmas from myself and all of those involved in Fantasy Football Scout! Yes it even calls for the use of a cheesy exclamation mark (shudder). Seriously though, best wishes to you all and your families.

Of course, I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank-you for your superb support over the past year, although I’ll save the sentimental stuff and yearly round-up for the New Year message.

For now, I’ll leave you with some exciting news – as we prepare two new key features to be rolled out in just over a week, in preparation for the January Wildcards. Later today we’ll be previewing one of those features, a Fantasy Football Scout community ranking table that will have a version available for members and non-members alike. I don't get all the love for Berbatov on here.

Fulham have been on poor form. Even as the lone striker he drops very deep. He's had 6 blanks in a row, so even if he fires tomorrow the wait will not have been worth it!

And yet there are people thinking of selling Rooney and Tevez for him.

How are you guys feeling about Rooney's chances of starting?

I saw a couple of people post 100% but maybe after his torrid game one of the other 2 will get a run out? Both haven't started in a while (particularly Welbeck). I'm bricking it since I have Rooney + RVP. If both play I reckon I'll have a spectacular GW but Rooney missing could potentially ruin all that :/

      Save the FT, next gw depending how fulham play and if ruiz has got some game time get Berb for Tevez and upgrade a Sterling with that money. (I say Sterling instead of Schneiderlin assuming you've made a healthy profit of Sterling)

Merry christmas all!

After getting 71 points last week, I now find myself in the position of having 3 players with no games on boxing day (Cazorla, Gibbs and C.Cole) I have been racking my brain for the past few days over which transfers I should make. Atm I'm struggling to field 11. I just can't make a decision! My team is:

Mignolet/Federici
Nelsen, Cameron, Shorey (Gibbs, Wisdom)
Sterling, Mata, Silva, Snodgrass (Cazorla)
RVP, Suarez (C.Cole)

My current thinking is:
A: Gibbs + Sterling ---> Zabaleta + Puncheon (-4)
B: Cazorla + Sterling + C.Cole ---> Michu + Puncheon + Berba (-8)
C:Cazorla ---> Bale
D: Any other suggestions?

  Caz > Bale for long term. Then Silva > Caz before DGW.
  If you are not averse to taking a hit you could also do Sterling > Punchy to free up cash for next week.
