We’re down to the last four now in the Fantasy Football Scout Paddy Power Cup VII now. The next round will take place over Gameweek 22 and will see David Bevan’s “ange1range1” take on Sir Alex Jnr’s “Milehigh” – the former is the clear underdog going into this one; although he’s nestled inside the top 7,000, David’s opponent has moved ominously into 34th place overall after yesterday’s seven fixtures.

Site regular “WildRover” is the early favourite heading into the second semi-final. He has moved up to 439th in the overall rankings ahead of tonight’s three remaining Gameweek 21 fixtures, while his opponent, Mr KK, is just inside the 30,000 mark. With winter wildcards available, however, the form book could easily be turned on its head as our quartet plot for silverware…

      I'm actually contemplating this. Won't be using my WC until after the DGW, so will try to assess whether Cisse can rediscover his form before then. Could be a repeat of Ba 1st half/Cisse 2nd half like last season.

        Are you sure about Jelly? I would go for Berba instead and upgrade defense, especially since you have Fellaini and Baines! I would also not triple up on Stoke defense and I would probably wait for Baines to perform before getting him in...

        Jelly + Wilkinson + Baines --> Berba + Zabaleta + Gibbs ?

        Midfield looks delicious and GKs look nice.

          Twelve hours ago I was looking at the WC boiling down to rolling seven of the same 10-12 elite options as everyone else here. You posted a question about differentials that listed some cool ones, and I replied Cisse might be one too. What's not to like about that? Makes the second half more interesting as we seek the new Ba -- awesome but underrated.

      Newcastle United can confirm that Chelsea Football Club has made an official offer for Demba Ba which has triggered the release clause in the player's contract. The Club has given the player permission to speak to Chelsea FC and therefore he will not be included in the squad for tonight's game against Everton.
