In spite of his brace last week, he generally doesn't have enough goal threat for me to consider him over the other big hitting midfield options of Mata, Walcott, Bale and Gerrard. If you decide to go with two big strikers, Aguero is basically competing with Rooney and Suarez, both of whom have teammates who people like as much or better.

Depens who you would have in your team instead of him.

FWIW he played awfully deep vs Southampton with the introduction of Mirallas and Anichebe. Hoping that was just a switch in tactics due to the game being a boring stalemate but who knows.

I think he's a player that might drop off in the second half of the season. Historically he's had flashes before, but he's never been a big scorer. What with the risk to his position iI think he's likely to regress back to his scoring from previous seasons, although I'm sitting very uncomfortably looking at the next two fixtures.

How about going with what you have there, making no transfers next week, then planning on Fellani + Pog > Sturridge + Gimp in two week time?

In the drop down menu of FPL. Pick 'minutes played' check the 'goals scored' in the same menu and get your calc out.

No idea, but he should be higher than 7th since he's 7th on the forward rankings and would have played up to 20 minutes per game less than most of them (he's subbed off anywhere between the 60th-85th minutes)

He's on 6.6 points per 90 minutes, quite far down the list. By comparison, Walcott is on 8.9 having played fewer minutes.

If you dont have liverpool cover, i'd go gerrard. If you have suarez/sturridge go with bale

I go for Gerrard. Consistent. But Bale can explode and score 2 goals or a hattrick

In the same boat. Leaning towards Gerrard as he seems to be more consistent, but Bale could easily match his points with one explosive GW.

Ended up considering the same by deciding I wanted a nailed on option over bunn.

But both defences are still in very poor shape. Reading were getting me interested until they conceded 2 at home to WBA who barely score away.

I'm on 89 points and went up only 800 places, from 8800 to ~8000 ... yeah, it gets tougher in the upper echelons.

I got 82 and went down 400 odd places...

Fletch and Sturridge are in a similar price bracket, but cheaper - and more nailed on.

Yep don't be put off by the crowd. He's a perfectly dangerous forward to own. I have only one week left before wc so am undecided about keeping for Liverpool who have a very solid defence. But given striker competition right now, next 4 looks good.

He's a forward playing as a left midfielder/winger.
