surely they'll focus on getting UEL spot again. BR would be foolish to drop his main players for the Swansea clash, unless the player has really underperformed.
that said, Liverpool DGW could be a massive fail for us, So unlike Chelsea's and Arsenal's.

what sort of a lead at this stage would ensure you a win in your mini league.i have a lead of 22 atm and would dearly like to stretch it. what should be the strategy? my first season...so, need to know the tricks of this trade from the pros around here.
The impetus is on the others to catch you. So just keep going, pick the best players, and let the rest gamble on differentials.
what about the captain picks? say for this week...i am thinking walcott. many of my rivals would go for RVP or bale.so what do i do? play safe with RVP or go with my gut and captain walcott?
I think that most people will captain Walcott or Bale this week, so Walcott is probably the safe pick.

If the mini league is the only thing you care about, and you only have 1 rival.Then simply copy his team, then you are guaranteed to win.
Keep a note of his team value, so that you know what transfers he has made each week before they are visible.

it's not the mini league but the overall rankings that matter to me epic fail. i played my natural game from gw 10 onwards and was never too bothered about the ML but then i am top of it now without looking into my rival's team every weak and rose from 709K in gw 15 to 55k in gw26.
now that i am top, i would like to protect the lead dearly as none of my rivals gave me a chance as this is my first season.
In the 1st paragraph you say it's the overall rankings that matter to you, then in the 2nd paragraph you say you want to protect your lead?
If you are just wanting to finish as high as possible then play your normal game, but that is a completely different strategy to making sure you defend your mini league lead.
a bit of both actually and i guess i will steer clear from copying anyone's team as there are 5-6 different players in our teams. as i said above and you also emphasized that playing my normal game is the way to go to finish as high as posible, i will stick to that. at the end of the day, it's a bit of luck as well. isn't it? 🙂

Aguero needs to prove he's worth the money and Sturridge looks better value than Suarez as h'ell be playing the most advanced role. So im abstaining from this vote!
Suarez looked pretty bad lately, and Aguero is surely the most overrated player on this site, he just doesn't deliver throughout the season. I'd do Lukaku and Sturridge.
And another. The plot thickens. Don't really know what I'd do with all the money to be honest.

Also an option. But I still think Tevez is a better player than Dzeko, and will start stealing his minutes sooner or later.
Thanks everyone, I was expecting more unanimous support for Sturridge and Aguero. I see people are pretty fed up Aguero. I still think that's the route I'll end up going. He's been inconsistent but he just has so much potential.
Sturridge and Lukaku. Invest what you save elsewhere.
Unless Silva begins to fire, and Tevez plays regularly I don't like Aguero as an option.
