I think you're being sarcastic Granny. Redknapp got lucky with Bale - wanted to loan him out at one point.
I don't know how true that is, but he had a horrific first season. Switching him to a left sided attacker was the making of him. You can't underestimate nurturing.

I think both are true. Harry (or more accurately, Spurs) got lucky as Bale got moved into midfield due to a shortage of other options from memory and shone. Having said that I don't doubt that Harry did the classic arm round the shoulder thing with him and he benefit from that and getting proper game time under his belt.
Bale being the best player in the EPL is just outrageous. He's great, but you can make a list of better players easy.

I went Cisse; partly, however, because I didn't want 3 of my 10 players this week to be Southampton's away at Newcastle.
Lambert on price point alone. Even is Cisse outscores him that money employed else where will more than make up for it...
