The Sun Dream Team – Scout League Launched with £1000 Prize

The Sun Dream Team is now open for registration and Fantasy Football Scout are delighted to announce an official league, with The Sun offering a huge £1,000 prize to our winner.

Having had a few weeks to tinker with your starting XI, the serious business starts here. You can register your saved team, put together further lineups and create and enter leagues for the new season.

Select a free team and you can compete for £80,000 in prize money, but if you back yourself by opting for a Premium Package (two teams for £10 or six teams for £25), you’ll have more chances to win and be in the mix to win the full £500,000, whilst also earning the right to compete for the monthly game prizes, which make up £80,000 of the overall prize pot.

Joining and Creating Leagues

You can join or create up to ten leagues with any of your teams and set up your own leagues as you wish. The Sun Dream Team game offers real incentive to get involved – there’s a new Chairman’s prize pool of £10,000 available for those who manage to recruit ten or more managers to their league.

If you’re looking to join an ready-made league, you can challenge the likes of Ian Wright and Terry Venables with Dream Team allowing you to take on an array of celebrity managers.

You should also enroll in the official Fantasy Football Scout League, with Dream Team very kindly offering a £1,000 prize pot to the winner.

Im pretty sure im WCn after GW3, here are the reasons why -

We'll get a feel for most teams back 4
RVP has good fixtures
Int break so you get on some price rises
The transfer window will be shut
Turn in fixtures for United, Fulham, Spurs

So with that in mind here is my team for GW1 - GW3, all thoughts welcome

Cole Shaw Yoshida Rat Collins
Hazard Silva Coutinho Walcott Lucas
RVW Lukaku Dzeko

Bank: 1.5m

Now the top three are puntish. RVW & Dzeko have good fixtures doubt ill have them after the WC and I have 1.5m in the bank to move Lukaku on to Soldado or another striker. Lucas is a 4.5m filler who will play, only in my team as a back up if RVW or Dzeko dont play.

Anyone else taking a similar approach? any thoughts on the 15?

  I'm going the same approach but ended up with quite a different team. I can't see Dzeko playing often enough to be worth a place. Even with Pele's comments, will he really be ahead of Aguero or Negredo? RVW hasn't played well in pre-season and Hooper seems like a better bet if you really want a Norwich striker.
  
  Defence and midfield looks good though.

  I feel it is a waste to play a WC so early in the season, keep it when there will be more DGW later this season.
  Make a RVP team instead, a safer choice than playing a newbie like RVW and Dzeko who is a rotation threat.

League for dead teams - no transfers or wildcards during the season, pick your team and captains prior to gw1 then it is hands off for the rest of the season.

Avoid suspensions and injuries as best you can...

  Im beginning to think Aluko could be a fair source of points. With all the big hitters in mid field it might be worth having a 5.0 striker this year and not a 5.0 mid as there is no Moses/Dyer/Sterling

  I don't make plans per say, but usually allow room for manoeuvring because you can never know what will happen with injuries, transfers, first team selection etc especially when we have little to nothing to go on.

  Personally I would say Collins, I hope he keeps Tomkins out and as a rotation option which I think all 4.5m should be WHU are so much stronger home than away that it is a much easier decision to make every week than the alternatives which I think are Murner and Clyne/Shaw.

  Not sold on Mannone, still not clear he's first choice
  Chester not nailed on
  I think there's better options than Silva for 9.0
  same goes for Delph, Delph isn't even a guaranteed 2 points per game, he's a card magnet.

    Thanks JK. Chester and Mannone are easy to put right. Your Delph point acknowledged... but its a massive season for him and he has impressed in pre-season, so he's a punt at 4.5m. Silva I will have to disagree with you on 🙂

  and you have my team, but that is a bit sideways, so I like this. 9/10 imo, 10/10 if you fit in a Chelsea defender

    Thanks mate. I have tinkered with all those at some stage, but I wouldn't be happy going without any Arsenal forward cover (though I guess Lukaku>Giroud GW2 is an option!)
