Granville and I handed Jonty and the “Professor” an extended pre-season and rolled the ScoutCast back to its rawest form. Just myself and the Mancunian sharing our thoughts after a summer break and looking forward to another Fantasy campaign.

We talk double Gameweek assets, I roll out the van Persie duvet, Granville reveals more than he should about his team lineup and, around all that, we assess the early bandwagons and preview the weekend fixtures.

Forty-five minutes of two blokes talking about the stuff that’s rattling around in most of our heads right now.

      Looking at it, the not play risks are Terry, Cardiff Turner, Ravel, Dzeko, Lukaku.
      
      Although at the least I'd expect Dzeko and Lukaku to sub.

  Similar to mine. Are u convinced enough w Liverpool fixtures to go 2 in the back? Have the same dilemma and I`m considering Dawson instead of Toure. Both Mignolet and Toure seem like good value though.

So here is my team,

Hart

Mirallas Coutinho Hazard Nolan Walcott
Benteke,Lukaku.

Subs:Gazzaniga,Ward,Chester,Smith.

Based on a couple of RMT's, the general concensus of the people around here is that
A)Doubling up on the city defence,but i think it is worth it with the opening four fixtures (newcastle,hull,cardiff and stoke)
B)A poor bench (The subs play but are not likely to get me points,but is that an issue when the first 11 is there to get them for me!)
C)Too much invested in defence,linked with A but looks good to me

      Personally I wouldn't want to be worrying about my entire front line so soon. I am already taking a big enough risk on my own with Negredo Soldado and Anelka. Two of whom have never even played in the league yet, and the other is 35/36 and etc. etc etc.

    Personally seen enough of Aspas to convince me that he will do the business, specially till Suarez comes back and/or we sign someone like Willian (hoping).
    
    Bony is a Punt. Huddlestone, well I cant think of anyone better at 5.0.
    
    Will downgrade Terry to someone like clyne or shaw post DGW to move Oscar --> Walcott and then take it from there.

  Evs, if you're gonna go for marshall + non-player, why not pair him with Lewis - that way, your sub is guaranteed to provide cover if Marshall injured? That's my plan anyway - tell me if I've missed somethiing 😉

  Its not a bad idea especially the cheap sub defenders. But upgrade your attacker to someone like JRod by downgrading Miralles to Snodgrass\Sissoko\Morrison. That way you can keep you City defence and cover players in your front 8 not playing.

Gone for Koscielny atm but looking at Arsenal's fixtures they look good for attacking returns and not defensive returns tbh
Villa(benteke) fulham(always score at home) TOT sun(again very offensive at home)

Friend of mine asked for help with his team, said he must have RVP Sturridge and Lampard in it as they are the players he knows (Liverpool fan). 1st year playing FPL.

Came up with this for him:

Boruc, Marshall

Ivanovic, Toure, M Turner, Chester, Ward

Lampard, Hazard, Mirallas, Nolan, Jedinak

RVP, Sturridge, Lambert

I want this team now 🙁

  Saves you the logistics of panicking to get rid of them by game week 3 anyways. I went with 3 though. Drop 2 and bench one by GW3.
