No thrills. Few spills. Just two men in a room talking about Fantasy Football.

Granville and I handed Jonty and the “Professor” an extended pre-season and rolled the ScoutCast back to its rawest form. Just myself and the Mancunian sharing our thoughts after a summer break and looking forward to another Fantasy campaign.

We talk double Gameweek assets, I roll out the van Persie duvet, Granville reveals more than he should about his team lineup and, around all that, we assess the early bandwagons and preview the weekend fixtures.

Forty-five minutes of two blokes talking about the stuff that’s rattling around in most of our heads right now.

    Anybody else have an earmarked "emergency RVP fund"? Not the full whack, but enough to jump on any early bandwagons or do an emergency u-turn to get the dutch points machine in ASAP without tearing up your team or taking extensive hits.

    Hi guy, please RMT:

    Cech (Davis)
    Toure, Turner, Baker (Collins, Ramage)
    Walcott, Hazard, Coutinho, Mirallas (Kim)
    van Persie, Dzeko, Anelka

    Obviously secrificed the defence to have RvP while maintaining a strong midfeild.

    Can anyone recomend a 4.5 MID who is nailed on for PT? Thinking of downgrading Kim and ugrading a defender.

    Thoughts?? Cheers

    If i knew Ivanovich was nailed , would snap him up in an instant. Still remember the 24 points from last years double

    People saying aspi not fit , but that was a week ago , and surely the best way to get him fit would be to play him in one of the two easy games , ivan willbe wantedfor man u so surely wont play all three?

      That's my worry. I had Cole last season. Ivan scored 24pts. Now I have Ivan and everyone says he is not nailed.

    To be thorough, here's the Sam Allardyce quote re-injuries from bottom of page talking about Cardiff match;

    Any team news ahead of Saturday?

    SA: "There's no injury news from our team at the moment. It's the first time in my management career that I've gone through a pre-season without a single injury. We've had knocks, but no player has had to miss a game because of injury throughout the entire summer, so I hope that continues all the way through to next May!"

      I suppose you could interpret 'no injury news' to mean no NEW injuries, since Collins and Carroll were already known injuries at this point ......? It's a lottery for now imo

    Hey guys! Hundreds of drafts have been set up, and I'm still not sure which direction to go. Currently no RVP in my team, and this is where I'm at. Any thoughts/suggestions?

    Koscielny, Terry, Collins, Turner, Brayford
    Walcott, Hazard (C), Silva, Mirallas, Morrison
    Benteke, Sturridge, Altidore

    0.5 in the bank for Benteke > Soldado
    I know Collins is most likely injured, but I'm sure he will be back soon, and I could need the WHU cover in GW3. Or are there better alternatives?

    1) RVP, Snodgrass, Maiga or
    2) Sturridge, Silva, Lambert?

      A. Imo. Rvp is a must for me, he can score against any team anywhere. Snoddy and maiga got nice opening fixtures. Sturridge may not start, don't like silva anyway anyway and after the summer signings even less
