No thrills. Few spills. Just two men in a room talking about Fantasy Football.

Granville and I handed Jonty and the “Professor” an extended pre-season and rolled the ScoutCast back to its rawest form. Just myself and the Mancunian sharing our thoughts after a summer break and looking forward to another Fantasy campaign.

We talk double Gameweek assets, I roll out the van Persie duvet, Granville reveals more than he should about his team lineup and, around all that, we assess the early bandwagons and preview the weekend fixtures.

Forty-five minutes of two blokes talking about the stuff that’s rattling around in most of our heads right now.

      He's an "Isolated figure" in the Tottenham dressing room, good! That will give him some practice for when he joins Real Madrid's dressing room and the Spanish swear words are flying all around him.

    Can't decide between Benteke and Giroud...

    Benteke obviously has the double in his favour but Giroud could easily outscore him in 1 game to 2, has better fixtures early on and wouldn't need a transfer out/benched GW3..

    Which one do you guys think?

      Yeah it's a tough one.

      I've gone with Giroud. Bentek's fixtures and lack of game in week 3 put me off him.

    Just been on the chelsea forums. Lukaku starting is 50/50 as many people think here. Half the people there seem to think Torres will start due to Mourinho preferring his experience and allowing Lukaku to come on late as an impact sub as he did for west brom on numerous occassions

    Dzeko more potential for points over next 3 but Lambert is nailed on.

      I like it, Dzeko is a nice differential too. Not sure if I would go with Lukkaku as (C) though,cheeky punt!

        I think Lukkaku might just bang in the goals vs Hull! I'll have Hazard as my vice captain so that if Lakkaku doesn't play vs Villa, I'll get captain points for Hazard. But yeah, definitely a punt!

      Yes! Had KDB for a week now as my punt (had Michu GW1 last year, which I can still dine out on ;-)).

      I think he'll miss the Hull game and start vs Villa. Maybe subbed on against Hull? By all accounts he was MOTM in the Belgium - France friendly yesterday.

      Honestly think you'll be lucky to get one start out of KDB.

      Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Schurrle surely certain to get one start, that only leaves 2 spots in the AM positions over 2 games from them lot again, KDB, even Ramires, Van Ginkel, Moses etc.

    Evening all

    Assuming Mourinho will play his strongest team against United in GW2, I think we should expect some rotation vs Villa. For me, that means the following starts midweek:

    * Cahill
    * Possibly Bertrand
    * De Bruyne to play RW
    * Torres (given Lukaku's hattrick vs United at the end of last season)
    * Possibly Moses over Hazard

    In short, and with Arsenal's injuries, I'm coming round to thinking Benteke might not be such a bad pick as it first seems. Thoughts?

    Never mind RVP or to not RVP.

    The biggest issue is the front 3.

    I've gone Giroud/Solidado/Lukaku but any of these could do just as well: Jecko, Studge, Benteks.

      Cardiff mid, seems like one of the few decent 5m mids. Brady/Koren from hull are the other two, Whittingham from cardiff less so.

      95% imo, doesn't look like a goal scorer though but he could be really good if someone gets on the end of his deliveries (could do a Valencia of a couple of seasons ago, assist galore)

      Seem quite high, has featured a fair bit in pre-season.

      Agree he's quality but he didn't score a league goal last season, not a FF pick for me.

    Can someone confirm is Collins' place under major threat now?

    If yes what are the most viable and nailed on 4.5 options? I have M Turner already and no one else seems to have a good GW1 fixture... any help would be much appreciated 🙁

      Clyne should play GW1 and nailed on. Think Yanga-Mbiwa has a spot in the starting newcastle lineup also.

          Not 100% but may be an update tomorrow, both shaw and clyne should be back GW2 if not GW1.
