Sunday’s two matches get underway with a Selhurst Park encounter that finds Crystal Palace host Andre Villas-Boas’ Spurs. Two hours later, Chelsea start their double Gameweek with a home clash with Hull City as Fantasy mangers brace themselves for an avalanche of points.

The team news from Palace finds Ian Holloway keep the faith with much of the side that won promotion from the Championship. Holloway keeps the new boys on the bench, with Marouane Chamakh and Jose Campana in reserve while the likes of Aaron Wilbraham and Scott Dobbie are handed starts. New signing, Dwight Gayle, does get his Premier League debut up front, however.

Visitors Spurs are without Gareth Bale but can call on the services of Jan Vertonghen who is fit to line up alongside Michael Dawson in defence. Danny Rose gets the nod at left-back as expected. In midfield, Gylfi Sigurdsson looks to be starting in the Bale role, with Nacer Chadli given a debut on the left-flank. All eyes will be up front, however, as Roberto Soldado makes his first start following his £26 million move from Valencia.

    The dead team I made this year for fun is currently 7th in the FFS League. Not allowed to touch it all season. It will be interesting to see how it pans out 🙂

    One idea pops to mind... with the "raw" baps being so low and seemingly evenly distributed, surely we will see more players tieing for baps, especially in low scoring games. For instance it wouldnt be unconcievable with three four players all getting the 3 baps in a game. So it makes me wonder if a lot more baps will actually be handed out this year, increasing their importance.

    Plus I get the feeling these new baps are easier to predict. Some players will simply be magnets and you'll know it by the way they play and how their managers use them.

    considering getting Kompany in for Ivanovic

    seems like CBs are going to be gold dust this year for BAPS

    def atm is Coleman who is a season keeper who i plan to play for most games, then Murner who i have faith in + Brayford and Chester. i am looking to upgrade Brayford to Shaw/Clyne/Collins/Reid in a few weeks and will rotate with Murner (or Coleman for EVE away at MUN etc)

    thoughts? should i stick for the more traditional FPL pick of Zabaleta?

    Any ideas why Rat didn't start for West Ham?

    Quite annoyed I didn't do Rat > Collins and Foster > Mignolet as that was the final tinker I was considering and I would be 18 points better off now if I had!

    Anyone still thinking of not going with RVP?

    My thinking is that, under Moyes, there might be a midfielder (hopefully) who will share some attacking returns. And everyone here has been talking about his value, I honestly think that he offers decent value if you captain him week in week out, but there are so many strikers over 8 million and so this season compared to last season, makes me wanna think that maybe we could do well still without having RVP in. For example, RVP + Anelka would cost you 19.5 million, whereas 2 of Soldado, Sturridge and Benteke would save you a million (or more) and you could still score higher than the RVP pairing with Anelka. It's all about finding the right captain choices now, and I think the options this year are in abundance.

    Whats your thoughts on Osvaldo? Definately nailed on?
    My plan now is to simply bring Lukaku out for another striker at 8 or less, Lambert or Bony was my targets at first, but Osvaldo might be even better..

    Captain Soldado for GW2? That was my original plan, but Tottenham doesn't look that they've figured out how to attack without Bale. Should I get Silva and captain him for the next two weeks if he looks good tomorrow? What about Coutinho?

    How long is Lescott nailed on for?

    I was going to transfer Cole > Zabaleta, though the extra 0.5mil will be enough for me to get Benteke in after the blank - I hope lol.
