The ScoutCast – Episode 110 – Cosmo

He’s well travelled. He’s multi-lingual. He’s just 19 points behind me. Despite my best start to a Fantasy Football season in living memory, Granville is right on my tail. In this latest episode of the ScoutCast, Granville takes delight in taunting me by wrapping his tongue around every “Pochettino” with ease, leaving me to struggle like Paul Merson with a mouth ulcer.

In between the mispronunciations, myself and the “cosmopolitan Manc” get heated about Robin Van Persie, rinse through the Gameweek 1 bandwagons, preview the weekend’s action and welcome the flying start made by this season’s ScoutCast team. It’s breathless stuff, squeezed into a low fat 40 minutes.

        Current going for RVP, Aguero and Lambert myself. With view of getting Soldado or Bony in 3/4 weeks.
        
        Currently have Silva, Jedinak, HBA, Nolan and Snod but not happy about it

        Somewhere there is mid that will score huge and allow for that fwd line but the chances of picking it in advance are slim

        For now I think it is worth it, it is just as you say picking the mid price mids. HBA + Aguero can become a Sturridge + Michu later for example so it does give flexibility later down line if I get annoyed with the cheaper mids.

    if he was 12mil, everyone would have him. so take the team you'd have if he was 12 mil, and then take a measly 0.5mil off just 4 players.
    i have but not really convinced. time will tell i suppose

should i take a 4pt hit to take out terry for zabaleta. i still have hazard who i want to get rid of before gw3 because of hard fixtures and no game. so i think now is the best time to make the transfer and then look at bringing in someone like silva or michu

  Zaba will rise in price tonight, so if you wait you might not be able to afford him. Plus gotta figure he's odds on for a cleanie vs CAR, whereas JT likely won't get one vs Man U (and may not even play necessarily). So 4 point hit is likely to be negated.

      Well, I have one, and my little boy has one. But as he's 10 months old so I do most of the administering. He got 100 points in his very first week of FPL ever, so he's pretty happy.

How does LMS work exactly? The rules are a bit vague

"Rules

The bottom "X" number of teams for the gameweek after hits will be eliminated.

Entries close GW2.

GW1 will be an easy introduction with average or better being good enough to progress."

      He had to do it that way because he couldn't be sure of total entrants. No point kicking 40 people out if there is 30 in it. If you don't like it leave it's great that he does stuff like this for us.

top scoring defenders WILL score higher this year because of the new bonus system. SO maybe you could play a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 and fund RVP.

  I think there are enough options for either system to work. Good mid priced/low priced options to accompany RVP and consistent strikers for those who go without (Aguero, Benteke and maybe Soldado).
  
  With the new BPS, RVP could score fewer BPs than last season too. I remember him getting some dubious ones last year..
