The ScoutCast – Episode 110 – Cosmo

He’s well travelled. He’s multi-lingual. He’s just 19 points behind me. Despite my best start to a Fantasy Football season in living memory, Granville is right on my tail. In this latest episode of the ScoutCast, Granville takes delight in taunting me by wrapping his tongue around every “Pochettino” with ease, leaving me to struggle like Paul Merson with a mouth ulcer.

In between the mispronunciations, myself and the “cosmopolitan Manc” get heated about Robin Van Persie, rinse through the Gameweek 1 bandwagons, preview the weekend’s action and welcome the flying start made by this season’s ScoutCast team. It’s breathless stuff, squeezed into a low fat 40 minutes.

  Doubt Jol will change the CBs to be honest. We looked pretty solid at Sunderland. Think Amoribieta will eventually become our CB but may take a bad game fro Hughes for that to happen

What do people think of Oscar's FPL prospects this season? I thought he looked better than Hazard in the two games so far.

But, will he nail down that role? Or will he be rotated too much or dropped deeper?

  The problem with Chelsea is when Lampard plays(because he's not a disciplined CM and bombs forward without tracking back) that leaves Oscar to carry the ball up and distribute...so when this happens, I don't see Oscar as a good fantasy prospect.

    I don't really see any of the quality attackers being great for FPL. Lampard does force them to cover, there is rotation risk and Mourinho tends to settle for 2-0's. Going forward I will stick to just Ivanovic I think

        I dunno, might bottle it yet. Dzeko's "form" didn't translate into an actual goal though, whereas Negredo had a legitimate one ruled out in much less playing time. Plus longer term I think he'll get more minutes.
        
        I want one of the three in, and have just had this gut feeling about Negredo since before the season began. My gut isn't always the best judge though!

        All three of them are, you've got to punt on one i think.
        
        I think with City this year, patience will be key. The points got spread around a lot on Monday, sometimes your choice will be the one who scores big, sometimes they'll have to make do with a solitary assist on a 5-0 win. Controlling the urge to jerk those knees will reap dividends methinks.

  Hard to say, they seemed to be playing against a pub team tonight.
  
  He's going to be good, but they desperately need somebody playing behind him who is going to pay attention to what he's doing. Until they do I think they're gonna keep struggling like they did against Palace before the penalty.

Any peeps that were giving the large about Man U finishing 4th or 5th this season should be keeping Lukaku for this G/W and even consider (C) him.

Ditch this feeling about playing Utd at home and deliver the hard balls you were spouting and back it up. We were saying It's about Chelsk and Citeh. Well is it or not?

  Had this idea with Barkley but then realised Gibson is 50/50 for weekend so abandoned it.
  
  Jedinak, Cabral and Lucas are the only true nailed on 4.5mids i can see.
