The ScoutCast – Episode 110 – Cosmo

He’s well travelled. He’s multi-lingual. He’s just 19 points behind me. Despite my best start to a Fantasy Football season in living memory, Granville is right on my tail. In this latest episode of the ScoutCast, Granville takes delight in taunting me by wrapping his tongue around every “Pochettino” with ease, leaving me to struggle like Paul Merson with a mouth ulcer.

In between the mispronunciations, myself and the “cosmopolitan Manc” get heated about Robin Van Persie, rinse through the Gameweek 1 bandwagons, preview the weekend’s action and welcome the flying start made by this season’s ScoutCast team. It’s breathless stuff, squeezed into a low fat 40 minutes.

  Wow, do not give up Lamps. Haz>Mirallas for Zabaleta is better. Gives you more freedom in future transfers and you can always buy him back when fixtures improve and he starts scoring points again.

Anybody else concerned about losing team value this week?

I've already taken a 8 point hit to dump Lukaku and Rat (WH) before they drop in value but now I'm worried about Negrado and Morrison (WH) ............ but I can't keep taking hots ...........

I need to move away from the keyboard 🙂

    I'm cool with taking hits early on for players who are actually in the squad and playing. And if it makes you feel better, I'm at -12. (See shock and horror from a page ago.) But I still feel it's the right decision. Lost no cash, and Olsson, Kos and potentially Ivan and Luk next week (and definitely the following) were just bringing me down.
    
    Thankfully I didn't have Anelka...

        I don't think HBA is a punt. He has 3 home fixtures in 4. Surely gunna grab some points. On PKs, Corners, Set pieces.
        
        The only thing is with City the points could come from anyone...

        Thing about HBA is you have to let him prove himself. That's the nature of the high-skill, high-potential guy who's also mid-priced. Can't be jumping on and off.
        
        It's not like he's at 8 or 9. He's 7 and is a good shout in next few GWs.

  and check the council site every week (not necessary) to keep up with standings and see any league reviews or other articles written about the leagues. that part is totally optional but makes it more enjoyable

Transfer Hazard tonight for Silva or Yaya (Who would be better choice?) for a hit & transfer Benteke next week for the free. Thinking City will score more points vs Cardiff than Chelsea will at United.
