Nine down, one to go as Swansea welcome Hull to the Liberty and hand us some Monday night football to sink our teeth into. Michael Laudrup’s side have offered Fantasy managers a strong source of points at both ends of the pitch in front of their own fans – three of the last four home games have produced a clean sheet and three goals or more for the Welsh outfit:

Jonjo Shelvey’s 14-point haul in the previous Gameweek saw the former Liverpool man earn himself over 161,000 new owners prior to the weekend deadline, though with Curtis Davies back on board after serving a one-match suspension, the Tigers will be hoping to turn in a resilient display.

The big news is that Michu is fit and available to lead the line for the hosts after recovering from ankle and knee problems. He replaces Alvaro Vazquez up top in one of three changes by Laudrup, as Gerhard Tremmel and Nathan Dyer come in for Michel Vorm and Alex Pozuelo. Robbie Brady drops out for the Tigers after a series of disappointing displays since returning from injury.

      I think alot depends on when you bought them and value you'll loos - ive got Kun, Roonpig, Surez....I want Lukaku but cant do the transfer.

      In the short term on fixtures there is a case for Lukaku, Suarez, Rooney. Kun to Lukaku frees up about 3mil to beef upthe rest of your team.

    Ive got the template Kun, Rooney, Suarez forward line.... I got in early and so cant bring myself to transfer any of them.

          Well, the only one to have been there all 15 GWs. I have re-purchased Kosc, Hazard and Chester over the course of the game.

        United are struggling. Lukaku has great fixtures coming up. The extra cash allows me to have Jagielka, Koscielny, Hazard and Cabaye instead of Clyne, Terry, Gerrard and Brunt in the next couple of weeks.

                  Yeah. i've been tempted to get rid of one of the SAR front line for Lukaku but Rooney is such a great differential now and captain material that I need to keep him. Plus I bought him for 10.6. And the other two are basically essential so need to stay put.

                        14,506 right now. Dunno if Chester's two points have still to be added or what that'll do to my rank. Had Ramsey since gameweek three which has helped. Captain choices have been good this season too for once. 🙂

    OK Guys - really need some advice.

    Giroud is going down tonight. Lukaku probs going up. Rooney staying put.

    Should I do Giroud > Lukaku and have money to do what I want with upgrading GK, a DEF, and Brady > Someone, OR... Giroud > Rooney which leaves me with only Migs > Mannone option (Howard other keeper).

    Everton have better fixtures (at home mostly) and on form, Man U have some away fixtures and all over the place.

    Leaning towards Lukaku.

    Thoughts please?

        Yes indeed, and that's why I'm leaning toward that option. Lukaku would leave me with an option to get rid of Baker (why did I get him?) and swap out Brady for someone a bit better.

    is it totally crazy to consider: Mertesacker -> 5.4m or less defender to fund Gerrard -> Ozil (then drop Terry to bring back in Mertesacker after 2 weeks)

          Palace defender offers good rotation with Turner. Norwich have decent fixtures and Newcastle look solid (ish)

          Debuchy (if fit), Olsson. Williamson?

        already have Howard, Coleman and Lukaku 😐 and yeah that's the only thing holding up the deal atm..other options are really Yaya, Silva and Walcott and have to wait on the last two until CL matches are done to really be sure

          I keep meaning to offload Ozil but he keeps coming up with the points. Can't see much against City though

          To be honest the goal was a bit lucky as Giroud should have buried it and apart from that he was pretty quiet.

          I would look at Silva if he starts/plays a part midweek

            yeah right now my first choice options are Yaya and Silva..just that since I'm looking to offload Terry anyways soon, thought this may be a clever way to do it and still get a solid mid out of it. shame these are the next two matches..Gerrard's injury came at the worst possible time

              Shame about the Gerrard injury although looking at those fixtures apart from Cardiff home maybe it's not the worst thing to only have Suarez

                idk, Gerrard has been firing on all cylinders..averaging over 5 ppg in the past 2 months iirc..

                oh well, will mull over and hope for a good midweek for my players and maybe a bright sign from Silva against Bayern..thanks John!
