      On a serious note, the cake theory isn;t about picking useless players just because noone owns them. Its about avoiding going for players that everynoe owns even if thy are good, and picking playrs that are also good, but not owned maybe because they are lacking form but have shown they have the class to regain it/ players that have been unlucky.
      
      Its not an excuse to own Sagbo etc...
      
      Disclaimer: I did previously own Sagbo but only as bench fodder. Actually I don't think hes all that bad for 5m but for a couple mil more there are clearly better options.

        Suarez I would avoid for a different reason.. he is probably going to leave in January and that is going to really mess up peoples teams. One guy even told me if Suarez leaves in January he is going to quit playing fpl because of how much it will mess his team up. (I didnt agree he should do that but it just shows how bad emotionally and points wise the effect of losing suarez could be for your team so not worth having him imo)

        Rather not have to use a WC just to accomodate for one player. But thats the lngths you will have to go to if you own suarez.. exactly my point. If flecther gets injured I transfer him out. If suarez leaves which btw is likely, entire team readjustment and mental headache leading to bad decisions. A bad decision making brain on a WC.... DISASTER.

        e.g going on tilt in poker. If you have mental strength to deal with suarez leaving and have a good back up plan that you are confident of sticking too then fair enough, but you will most likely make a rash decision and waste ur wildcard with the guy who got a hatrick the week before because you dont realise that form and bookie odds isnt everything

        even if someone has 30% ownership, theres still another 70% that DONT own him. so if they're scoring well you either rise or extend your gap to those behind you by 7/10. 30% doesnt sound as much that way does it? of course the higher the rank the more likely the popular players will be owned, but they're ranked high for a reason.
