      I don't get this 1.5 times idea. If a player misses out through an unreported injury its bad luck. You still have to pick a nailed on vice captain that scores well to benefit. I captained Suarez so won't benefit from the vc rule today.

      I kept the vc away from City players because mass rotation was likely for that game. People that had Rooney captain and put the vice on Negredo/Yaya made a mistake. Those that put the vice on Suarez were being sensible. Nothing captain hindsight about this, I said Negredo wouldn't start amd that even Yaya could be rested.

        Of course the luck element is there and I'm not really basing it on this week or anything but, using the Roo/Suarez example, it would be correct to say that Suarez was a lower priority to you this week than Rooney. I'm merely suggesting that going forward maybe taking priority into account would make the game a bit more interesting!

          I don't know, the vice captain hardly ever comes into place. Its nearly always when there is an unreported injury or unexpected rotation. It seems harsh to penalise for this. As I said I captained Suarez so won't be benefitting today from the vc rule.

    Just interested to see how it relates to fantasy. For example, in MLS fantasy I think I finished in the top 500 despite never watching a game, but I'm shit at FPL despite watching basically every game!

      For a start you'll know who is in the League Cup Final which may give you DGW joy/blank GW nightmares, plus you've seen a lot more big players get injuries I think this season. It seems whatever week you use it you'll wish you had it the following week. I prefer later on.
