Which midfielder of under 5.7 should I get for Januzaj?

-Getting Sterling would mean tripling up on Liverpool with Studge and Suarez
-Getting Ince would mean tripling up on Ward and Puncheon
    -Routledge, Zaha other options perhaps

    What do you suggest?

Thanks mate, read your replies on the previous page as well. Adam seems to be a good choice and is on pens as well but Stoke have some difficult fixtures coming up. They will definitely play in gw29 though which is a big plus.

Didnt see the welsh derby last night. How good did Zaha look? What was his average position?
Routledge is very frustrating but @4.9 looks tempting...

I didn't see that game either so can't really comment on him. Fixtures not great for Stoke but they've been performing well and Adam has the best form over the last few weeks of any of the cheapie mids. Bacuna worth a look if you really want to save money

Sterling was fantastic. at that pricetag, and nailed on. and looked more like 3rd forward, I think the choice is clear.

I have Suarez and Gerrard and am trying to figure out how to bring Sterling in myself (Wilshire or Ki would have to go). Suggestions??

Friday evening, looking at all the Dzeko transfers, I decided my captain Hazard wasn't a strong enough pick, and talked myself into a City bounce back led by Dzeko. Ade out, Dzeko in, Hazard to VC.

After the captaincy fail to end all, I decided to look at the major turning points in my season.

-Week 6 "Freak injury #1: RVP" Toe injury to Cpt RVP misses out on new transfer Lukaku making a home debut Evertonions won't forget; 2 goals and an assist (-15 pts)
-Week 13 "Freak injury #2: Kun" Calf injury to Cpt Kun misses out on Ozil @ CAR (-10 pts)
-Week 16 "Played the Matchup" Capt Rooney @ AVL over Suarez @ TOT (-17 pts)
-Week 18 After deciding never to drop Suarez from Captaincy again, he gets the nod for a blank at MCi and I Miss out on Rooney running riot at Hull (-10 pts)
-Week 23 Freak Injury #3 - Lost faith in Liverpool (vs EVE)- Cpt. Kun (injured before half) over Suarez (-7 pts). Also benched Migs over MacGregor (red card) (-8 pts) (-15 pts total)
-Week 25 Last minute rethink Cpt - Hazard replaced by new transfer Dzeko (Ade out) (-20 pts)

Plenty more regrets, but the armband indecision has destroyed me his year...

    Week 6 - Rank 1.4m - Dropped 210k places - Lost 15 pts
    Week 13 - Rank 1.1m - Dropped 2k places - Lost 10 pts
    Week 16 - Dropped 17 points
    Week 18 - Rank 2.2m - Dropped 37k places - Lost 10 pts
    Week 23 - Rank 2.2m - Dropped 50k places - Lost 15 pts
Week 25 - Dropped 20 points + whatever Adebayor scores

Total of 87 points, would have my rank inside 25k instead of 200k+
Add the 3 "corrective hits" I took in the wake of these errors would be inside 17k
Can't account for used free transfers, opportunity cost lost, etc..

Conclusions: Little decisions go a long way, one bad decision usually leads to at least another, and reading the tea leaves can really get you in trouble.. Don't outthink yourselves like I have...

I did exactly the same thing. Ade out for Dzeko. Made Hazard captain right up to the last minute when I changed to Dzeko after reading about how many goals he's scored against Norwich plus changes to Norwich team.

If RVP scores it looks like I'm out of the cup.

      Gutted.

Bit unlucky with some of the above weeks. But this is how fantasy works. Some years your making all the right moves and some years your not. Should have never cap Dzeko this week as captaining a rotation risk player is never a good plan.

I know where you're coming from, but it ends being pointless even starting to work out what your rank should have been, or could have been, if you made this or that decision. These scenarios always presume that you, and you alone get to adjust your captain choices, bench decisions, transfers etc. If everyone else that went the wrong way with their decisions in those weeks also got to tweak their sides, chances are your rank wouldn't move as much as you anticipate. That's not to say I don't do exactly the same thing from time to time... 😉

He will get his place back. Most likely at the expense of Collins. He's our best defender. I think Demel is pretty much nailed on. Especially with O'Brien out. Amero is a threat to McCartney.

Loading up for City in GW30 onwards seems good. Hull away then DGW with Fulham and United at home PLUS if they progress in FA Cup their GW29 will be postponed so a further DGW incoming.

Not when you're as daft and illogical at the game as I am! Trying to be more logical but worried I am seeing it wrongly or working it incorrectly. Does loading up City for GW30 onwards look a very good tactic to you too?

What City players should we be looking at? I guess the ones which we know will make it onto the teamsheet so Kompany Toure and Aguero if fit HAS to be the aim for GW30 onwards.

I think this is great advice, please say thanks or point out where I am being wrong!!

    Jan WC league Top 10

    Which GW they WC'ed.

    GW21 : #7,9
    GW23 : #1,2,3,4,5,6,8
    GW24 : # 10

Seems it is a no brainer as to which GW was best if not forced to WC in GW21.

What's up DZ, sorry for the long post, I'd really appreciate some thoughts on this:

82 points with Coleman and Mata to play. Superb GW. 8 consecutive green arrows and climbed up from 231k to 110k. Top 10k seems achievable now. Team for next GW is:

    Marshall
    Coleman Ivanovic Koscielny
    Hazard Yaya Mata AJ
    Suarez Sturridge Bony

    Mannone Noone Ward Bruce

1 FT, 0.7m in the bank

    A) AJ > Mirallas
    B) AJ > Nolan
    C) AJ > Eriksen
    D) Bony > Lambert
    E) Bony > JRod
    F) Bony > Dzeko
    G) Bony > Adebayor
    H) 2 for a hit
    I) Save FT

    Thanks a lot.

3 home games in 4 and decent fixtures for the two problem gameweeks make Nolan seem quite an attractive pick at the moment don't they. I guess it is him or Mirallas in midfield. Don't think Lallanas fixtures are quite as hot. Which other mid price mids are people considering? (bar Eriksen and Puncheon who I have)
