The Weekend Team News

Mesut Ozil is expected to return for Arsenal’s trip to Hull. Daniel Sturridge remains a doubt as Liverpool head to Norwich. Loic Remy is back in training ahead of Newcastle’s clash with Swansea. Wayne Rooney may return for United, Artur Boruc is back for Southampton and Moussa Dembele is available for Tottenham again:

Arsene Wenger has confirmed Kieran Gibbs is out of Arsenal’s trip to Hull, though fellow left-back Nacho Monreal, along with Mesut Ozil, could be in line for a return to action. Mathieu Flamini is also available following a two-match suspension.

Paul Lambert welcomes back Leandro Bacuna for Villa’s home game with Southampton after the defender recovered from a hamstring problem.

Phil Jagielka is “unlikely” to make Everton’s home game against United, Roberto Martinez has admitted. The Toffees have no new injuries, with Steven Pienaar potentially returning in time for the Gameweek 37 visit of Man City.

Fulham’s on-loan midfielder Lewis Holtby is unable to face parent club Tottenham at White Hart Lane this weekend. Record signing Kostas Mitroglou remains sidelined with a knee injury, Cauley Woodrow is back in training after recovering from a dead leg.

Brendan Rodgers has admitted Daniel Sturridge “may struggle” to make Liverpool’s trip to Norwich on Sunday, with the forward set to be assessed over the next couple of days.

David Moyes’ pre-weekend press conference has yet to take place as it is scheduled for later today, though the United boss has reportedly confirmed at a FWA managers’ lunch yesterday that Wayne Rooney is expected to be passed fit for Sunday’s trip to Everton.

Alan Pardew will make a late call on the availability of Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy after the pair returned to full training ahead of Newcastle’s home game with Swansea. Hatem Ben Arfa is “struggling” with a dead leg picked up during last week’s loss at Stoke. Davide Santon is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury.

Artur Boruc is fit to face Villa this weekend, according to Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino. Gaston Ramirez is sidelined with an ankle injury for the Saints.

Charlie Adam is expected to be in the Stoke squad to face Cardiff after undergoing surgery on a broken nose earlier in the week. Oussama Assaidi returned to training yesterday but the match will “probably come too soon” for the wide man, says Mark Hughes. Matt Etherington remains out with a back problem.

Kevin Nolan has recovered from the hamstring injury that forced him to miss the midweek trip to Arsenal, Sam Allardyce has confirmed. James Collins and Joey O’Brien are also back for the Hammers’ home game against Palace.

Chico Flores serves the first of a two-match ban as Swansea head to Newcastle this weekend. According to local press reports, Garry Monk will give Michu “every chance” of making the trip to St James’ Park after he missed out with an ankle complaint last time around.

Moussa Dembele is back in the Tottenham squad to face his former club Fulham after recovering from injury. Michael Dawson and Roberto Soldado are both back in training, whilst Jan Vertonghen, Kyle Walker, Etienne Capoue and Erik Lamela remain out, with Tim Sherwood admitting the latter won’t feature again this season.

They have consistently rubbed up the workers the wrong way. In addition, they have downgraded the engineers.

Now that Bob Crow has passed away, they are seizing their chance.

The games are safe, they've been on strike before and the games have gone ahead. It's only if another major event conflicts at game time in the area as well, that it's an issue.

Speroni, Mannone - Coleman, Bardsley, Rosenior, Shaw, Zabaleta - Yaya T, Lallana, Barkley, Nasri, Mutch - SAS, Lukaku

1 FT and 2.5 Mill in the bank

    Should I do:

    a) Yaya and Sturridge > Mata and Aguero (-4)

    b) Yaya > Mata

    c) Yaya and Barkley > Mata and Eriksen (-4)

    d) Any other suggestions please?

Norwich have played 11 games at home since November, including United, City and Spurs..
They've only conceded 6 goals in total with only 1 goal conceded against the combined 3 of United, City and Spurs.

West Brom have only managed 6 clean sheets all season.

Suarez has only scored 1 goal in his last 4.

      No Henderson driving from midfield.

Aguero being a massive differential whereas (C) on Suarez is completely damage limitation as it will gain you nothing if everyone does it. (This is not a reason to not pick Suarez, just a side note)

      I'm undecided...

Far too much made of the Suarez has scored back to back hat tricks against Norwich so will get points. Sometimes there is something in it, more often than not it is akin to saying I won at the Casino in Birmingham the last two times so need to go back there. I think City will outscore Liverpool, but I'd still edge it to Suarez on the basis he will be the main focus of attack (even more so without Sturridge) and City can score from most positions and Kun hasn't looked fully fit yet.

      Everyone is ignoring 2 things:

      1) Norwich are a totally different beast at Carrow Road this year, very defensive and set up very well.

      2) Suarez's game vs Norwich last year where he scored 1 goal.

They've still only conceded 6 in their last 11 games there, keeping out City and Spurs.

I expect Liverpool to win by 2 or 3 to nil, but I don't see a Suarez hattrick.

1 goal in 4 and then he gets a hattrick away to one of the league's better defences? I don't see it.
