Paddy Power Special – 8/1 for England to Win, 7/1 for Draw, 6/1 for Italy to Win

After Holland’s stunning 5-1 rout of defending champions Spain last night, Paddy Power are rolling out a tempting offer for those yet to register an account. With Roy Hodgson’s England set to face Italy in the 11pm kick-off, our bookmaker mates are offering odds of 8/1 for the Three Lions to triumph, 7/1 for a draw or 6/1 on Cesare Prandelli’s troops to open their campaign with a victory:

Given that the regular odds are 2/1, 2/1 and 7/4 respectively, this is clearly another great offer from Paddy. Click here to get involved.

Those who already have an account with Paddy can still take advantage of a Money Back Special on offer. Paddy will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score & Scorecast singles on the match as a free bet if Italy win – found out more here.

To clarify, the England v Italy enhanced odds special is limited to a £10 stake, open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified. New customers can only opt for one of the three offers.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

    Things I learnt tonight:

    1. The wing problem cost us. Rooney on the wing? Na.
    2. Sterling is very exciting young player. But he needs Rodgers to work on him more. Still a little raw.
    3. Paletta's mum needs to tell him to shave his hair off. He ain't kidding anyone. You're bald as a coot, mate.

Done OK tonight - brave team selection with 4 attackers and created more than enough chances to have won the game.

Problem is lack of options at the back - Baines poor, albeit decent going forward and neither CB are really enforcers or dominant.

If they can attack a little quicker, reduce the touches and get ball into space v Uruguay they will win.

nah...Italy were the better team but not by a country mile...by England standards over the years that wasn't a bad performance but they're generally limited players with low skill levels...poor first touch, poor passing skills when you compare them with the very best in the world...but there's still a decent chance they can qualify especially if Suarez isn't fit

i also play 343 with neymar on right as captain, not realizing either the implications, but i never had a plan to change the formation as my strikers play later with exception to neymar so the opportunity wouldn't present itself in any case

Honda with his bleached blonde hair. Sounds ridiculous, but genuinely might give him an edge in standing out to TV viewers. Also think he's more likely to score.

How many World Cup games is that for Rooney without a goal?

Still trying to decide if 7pts is an acceptable score for a defender (Baines/Ramos)..it wasn't last night before the "adjustments", but is it now ?

I need that spreadsheet I think. The one that lists the players from so called crappy teams. If the Greeks, Hondurans, Algerians are only getting 6 pts then I'm sticking..

Well Alves and Cholo got 5 points each... so 7 is just on the other side of the keep line... Keep, unless your replacement is strong. I can't even tell how to find each players points.

Good..That's the bit we need to know isn't it. In FPL a defender with 5 pts is a good enough score..we need to know what a good enough score is in this game..

How do you find all player points on McDonalds FIFA game?

and I guess points and standings don't post until the end of the round and then no transfers until the knockout stage, which is 11 days away.

I mean thats kind of ridiculous and being out of touch on how fantasy games are supposed to be "fun"

no need to guess that...it says so on their site
I disagree...no transfers helps the informed player and damages the casuals
