Arnautoivic is a punt, he is getting far too much love on these boards. Top player, but at a crap team with nice fixtures. Meh! If you want a smart punt, go for Navas. Nobody will have him, his preseason form is good and he is well rested. Rotation risk yes, but i think he is good value to start the season in the first team.

So Barkley has better dead ball skills than Eriksen...the way Eriksen is written up its like he's a two bob player from the Championship. He's one of the best in the league.

The Star and a Chilean paper are the only ones reporting it. An Italian paper and the Star reported Liverpool had bid £42.5M for him when they didn't. I wouldn't trust this rumour. He might go to United, but it doesn't look like it yet.

it depends. last year there was an abundance of strikers banging in goals. The year before the value was in strong midfields. This year I think the value will be in the midfield for sure.

For me there is not a lot of real value in keepers. If you want a strong defence there is more value in attacking wing backs. Shaw if he's fit for example.

There's a lot of value in forwards this year. More than midfielders some might say. That's why the template dzeko, giroud, Rooney is so popular. Difficult to find that goal scoring at that price in mids.

I like it, although I don't like Vaz Te. At the moment I'm going with a 3-5-2 formation. I'm not convinced Vaz Te will see much action though. I can't say there are many @ 4,5 that will, but possibly Zamora at QPR will. I don't know enough of the newly promoted teams though.

I always say I'm not going to spend money on defenders. End up doing it. Regret it. Esp 1st half of season lots of newly promoted teams go all attack. So I keep defence cheap as poss. Opens up more options mid and attack.
