The Fantasy Flutter – Gameweek 6

We turn to the Scout Picks and Differentials this morning in another attempt to get the better of Paddy.

Palace’s home clash with Leicester brings Jason Puncheon onto our radar. The Eagles have scored three times in two of their three league matches under Neil Warnock and kept a clean sheet in their last match at Selhurst Park – with Paddy willing to offer 9/1 on Puncheon to score and Palace to keep out their opponents, we’re willing to fork out £3.

Our bet of the week goes on Southampton’s clash with QPR at St Mary’s, though. Graziano Pelle is the focus of our attention as Paddy offer 15/2 for the Italian to score two or more and the Saints to register a clean sheet – a scenario that occurred in their previous home match. With the R’s yet to net on their travels, we’re all the more convinced and shell out £4 for the Saturday afternoon encounter.

Our final bet is kept for Monday evening, as Stoke welcome Newcastle to the Britannia. Victor Moses has nailed down a role on the Potters’ left and has offered plenty of attacking threat since making his Gameweek 3 debut – Paddy are offering 15/2 on Moses to score one or more and Mark Hughes’ side to keep a clean sheet against the Tyneside team and we’re prepared to part with our final £3 for this one.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Is it worth a 4 point hit to get Costa in for Rooney?

I already have ADM & Hazard from either side but worried i'll be left behind if Costa runs riot again.

With few risers and huge number of fallers, What do you guys feel about having good team value at this point of time. We all know that number of active players decrease exponentially, so it might get very difficult to make back 0.1 you lost, with the transfers slowing down.

Good team value, whilst not essential due to fluctuations being more controlled this year, is important if only for when wild cards are used in Jan....

Also nice to know you got the right bandwagons.

My point being if you started with Davies, Luis, Arnatovic etc.. you would have lost a lot of team value, would you consider point hits replacing them?

I would not replace them for team value's sake...I would replace them if they weren't getting me points.

There is a link between price/price rises and points scored but all of that is less crazy this year due to the control over rises/falls

Come Christmas if a rival has a much bigger budget than you it's a massive advantage
I've tried avoiding price drops the only one I've had is Rooney
If he fails to produce today he's out before the next drop tonight

that doesn't sound right. players don't go up every 100% in transfers like last season, it's more like 200-300% this year.

Hi, could I get some thoughts on this team (not official fantasy, it's a fantasy team in my country)?

    Begovic (McGregor)
Clyne - Pieters - Baines (N Taylor, Moore)
    Sterling - Ramsey - Fabregas - Siggy
    Rooney - Costa - Aguero

I've got 3 transfers, and a lot in the bank, so you can name anyone!

My aim is to win this competition, currently sitting at 192 out of 19,000 - so shouldn't be too hard 😀

Yeah I could, but then all my money would go in to the defence. Prices are going up and down after each round based on how much they get transfered in/out, so I'd like to have something in the bank.
Their team also needs to win to get more points, if they lose then they will get -points

    2FT

Nick Powell - Boyd (non playing 5th mids)
    Krul - Howard

Doesn't look like Powell is going to get first team football at Leicester, and no one else in the 5m bracket I'm too taking with (now JWP a is out til Christmas)

4 starting mids are - hazard, sterling, sigurdsson, and Ramsey

Ben foster is my other keeper.

    Yes or no?
