What would you do with this team?

    Forster - Krul
    Terry - Duff - Lovren - Caulker - Dummett
    Sanchez - Fabregas - Sterling - Boyd - Mutch
    Naismith - Ulloa - Costa

4.8 in bank. Just short of Mutch to ADM

It isn't mine it is my mate who I play in a H2H league. Got to be wilcarding over the break you would think?

I guess Mutch to Chadli would make things better. Just to much dead wood

You could use it. But if not Mutch to Chadli would be a good move. Or see if you can work out how to get Kun into that front 3

He must need to downgrade a mid to get Aguero into that front 3. Hasn't made much value(in fact he has lost money.

I think those would be good transfers for him. I like him to be competetive to keep me on my toes. Beating someone not as good as yourself is less rewarding

Southampton couldn't get going. They panicked at the end and subbed Long on for Wanyama to try and have some pressure on Tottenham defence but they ended up resorting to longballs which Kaboul cleaned up. Tadic was clearly frustrated by Spurs last night....not sure how his owners would feel.

Got 2 FTs and can't see any easy moves. Any help?

    Bego (McCarthy)
    Ivan Clyne NTaylor (Duff) (Moore)
Sterling Fabregas Siggy Di Maria (Boyd)
    Falcao Ulloa Costa

    1.1 itb, 2 FTs

bego>guzan? your team seemed good enough to save ft but you have 2 so... other option is to get Baines but doubt youd have enough funds..

Falcao or Ulloa out seems the call. Begovic to Lloris after the City game could be a decent move too.

Have 1 FT, 1.7 itb. Happy to take a hit this week. Ferdinand is the first who has to make way, and one of chester/kelly. Any suggestions?

    Begovic
    Clyne - PvA - Kelly
    ADM - Sterling - Tadic - Siggy
    Costa - Aguero - Welbeck

    Gilks -- Marney - Ferdinand - Chester

They will never employ Pulis you know. He doesn't suit Newcastle as the fans expect them to win with style not grind out results. Personally they should be happy if they are winning imo but it doesn't seem to work like that there

I thought Man U gave him a big pay rise. He may be looking for a bigger challenge than Everton now I reckon his next team will be abroad maybe a team in the Europa league or something like that. Rangers might be a neat fit once they go up to the top division in Scotland again

    Repost 😉

    Do you guys think doing:
    Chester to Baines
DDG to 4.5 (Foster, Krul etc) for a hit is worth it?

Would leave me with a defence of:

    4.5
    Cahil/Baines/Duff/Dummet/Clyne

If I do this, it would mean that I would be unable to upgrade Downing in the future (0.1 itb)

Well, he is my 4th mid and I would only have 0.1 itb. He is only 5.6 and it would be hard upgrading him in the future.

    2. Shifty
      • 10 Years
      9 years, 8 months ago

That's the issue with Downing...he'll prob be the 4th mid but not sure how long term a pick he would be. Don't think those transfers are worth a hit considering you might be stuck with Downing-Baines for a long time if the only way to upgrade downing is losing Baines - there will always be that temptation to drop a 7m def!

      1. Puyol Pants Up

I suppose you could make a case for either. Chester's fixtures are pretty rancid even assuming he stays in the team. Coloccini is absolutely terrible though but at least has a decent fixture next week (Leicester H).

Would probably bring Bertrand in for the other one if them the week after.

I hope that Everton (ie. Baines) can bring in the points with their "favourable" fixtures. Couldn't believe he didn't slot that penalty. I am the only one with him in my ML, it hurt.

Are any other Baines owners happy in what they saw yesterday? Yes, he missed a penalty, and its no surprise that he is an attacking minded fullback, but a lot of the play went through him and he is almost like everton's playmaker on the left...

He got a nice assist and could've had a few more, and with easier fixtures coming up you would hope he can get some clean sheets as well as attacking returns.

Did anyone else feel justified in their decision to have Baines last night?

He's a good player, looked fantastic against QPR but ordinary vs Spurs. QPR tends to do that to players....

1 FT and 0.3 in banks

I want to getting Baines in

    A. Eriksen and Cahill to Siggy and Baines for a hit (4)
    B. Eriksen to Siggy. next GW: Cahill to Baines

I don't see any better option at that price for a player that is a proven FPL scorer if given the minutes.

A "season keeper" until he stops scoring points or gets injured. He certainly is staying in my team for now.

With Chambers out (5 YC's) next GW, who takes his place - Monreal or Bellerin?

    Krul foster
    Clyne Bertrand Naylor pva duff
Cesc siggy sterling tadic Di Maria
    Aguero Costa vaz te

    2 FTs and 0 itb.

Considering dumping tadic and vaz to for
    A) sakho and chadli
    B) naismith and chadli
    C) Welbeck and 4.6
    D) cisse and downing
    E) something else...

    Ideal frontline for coming weeks?
Looks like I can get any frontline but not sure which one. Current frontline is Costa-Pelle-Luka.

Chambers' YC put me off... He gets one every week, possibly someday will get RC too. Think Che will concede against bottom half teams...

cheers. im btn 1 & 2...just not sure how necessary it would be for a Che def. yes, they have nt kept it as tight as prev yr, but could start to.

Who here has watched much of Burnley so far?

I want Baines, but need to take -4pts hit to get him (I'm £0.1m shy of a straight swap!).

    O'Shea --> Baines
    Begovic --> Heaton

    Is Heaton is a good

  26. Bugmixer

    Begovic

    Iva Moreno Clyne

    Siggy Sterling Fab Chadi Tadic

    Pelle DCosta

    Bench: Uloa Duff Wilson Krul

    3.0 M ITB
Am I need to change MD to Di Maria? or keep them all?
    Any suggestion is my pleasure

What will happen first, Baines fall or Chadli rise? I need another 0.1 to make this happen

I'm think about Chambers + Sterling > Baines + Chadli
