    So, assuming Costa is fit.

    a) Sakho (MCI sto) + Fab (QPR, liv WBA)
    or
    b) Costa (mun QPR) + Siggy (eve, ARS, mci)

A means Costa -> Sakho this week and Siggy -> Fab next week.
I have Chadli so I can bring Siggy in after his difficult fixtures.
Same as Costa I can bring as Pelle replacement later on.

B means I'm stuck with Siggy through his tough fixture. But have Costa throughout.

Would go Costa>Welbeck or Berahino personally. And then wait and see next week.

      Di Maria if you must.

Two tough a$$ fixtures begin a turn for the worse fixture wise. He might be fixture proof but this sorry a$$ MUN team isn't. Will he even get out of his own half versus CHE?!

    Yes or No.

No, it's almost impossible to make 12 points. Sterling is still good, and you have so many options. Hendo for chadli or get rid of vaz te for berahino.

Ive looked in terms of long term arsenal spurs everton southampton all have excellent fixtures. points could be easily gained back . On the other hand siggy fixtures turns sterling will be rotated plus hendo pva not filling me in with confidence

If you're looking long term, spread the transfers out. Even doing two this week and three next week would make it an 8 point hit.

Broke the century this week and jumped from 42k to 2k..

    -------------------- DDG ---------------------
    ------- Moreno // Baines // Clyne --------
    -- DiMaria // Sterling // Tadic // Siggy --
    ------ Aguero(c) // Costa // Ulloa ---------

    Elliot // Wisdom // Duff // Marney

I have 2FT and 0.1 in the bank

I feel like DDG and Moreno need to go, Chambers and Courtois??

What would you do, any advice would be a real bonus. 🙂

    1. Bolivian Seaman

I'm not keen on Chambers. You could just do Moreno to Bertrand, double up on not only southampton but attacking fullbacks.

      Top Gks
      i Lloris TOT 5.6 39
      i Forster SOU 5.1 33
      i Hart MCI 6.0 30
      i Speroni CRY 5.0 29

      1. Marknlard

Yeah, I have Begovic and a free transfer I have to use so think I will either downgrade and free up some money or go for Howard. Downgrading is tempting as there's really no point paying 0.5+ extra when the points aren't there.

I'm pretty set on doing this before any more price changes...

    Bego
Clyne, Berty, Baines (in for Chester)
    Siggy, Fabs, Sterling, Eriksen

Budget forwards holding their own, even after this many game weeks. Anyone ballsy enough to consider this:

    Forster

    Coleman / Ivan / Baines

    Sanchez / Hazard / ADM / Tadic

    Berahino / Aguero / Sakho

If I had my WC left, I'd do this!

    Hi all,

Any thoughts on improvements to this team:

    Bego
    Baines Clyne Duff (PVA, Moore)
    Hazard ADM Siggy Sterling (Chadli)
    Berahino Costa Pelle

Pretty happy with it, but certainly think some tweaking can be done to improve it further.

Would love to get Aguero in there without transferring Costa out.

Also, would love a change of keeper (I was thinking Howard) and a better alternative to PVA at the back (My thoughts were Rose as Spurs have 4 decent looking fixtures coming up).

    Cheers!

"Would love to get Aguero in there without transferring Costa out. "

You can only do that by losing two of your other big name players. I think you'd destroy your team if you try to get Aguero and Costa in.

Yeah, that's the conclusion I think I am coming to. I've had to make many scarifices in the last few weeks to build my current team (-4 or -8 each week, luckily in GW 8 I didnt end up suffering too much)

        I think I am getting greedy 🙂

Might even just save my FT this week unless I go Bego -> Guzan and PVA -> Rose/Kaboul

Agreed. As good an attacking prospect as any Man City player may seem (excluding Aguero obviously), they just aren't producing the goods in FPL.

Fair enough. Have Aguero, and have had Silva all season. He was pretty solid last year when fit, a very nice point per minute ratio. But you and Nick are right, he's just not producing...

Find another way to fund for Aguero than by getting rid of Fab and Clyne

I'd just do the first two options and get Eriksen instead of Chadli. Don't like those moves for a hit.

I see points in all d players you are getting out, too much agony when they score points if you ask me...

      Falcao > Aguero

and save your 2FT for next week

Transfers done. Big risk in bringing in Foster after being ruled out against UTD, but I had to do it to avoid price changes.

    Thoughts?

    Foster
    Baines/Cahill/Clyne
    Sterling/ADM/Siggy/Downing
    Costa/Aguero/Pelle

    Gilks/Duff/Marney/Dummett

As a starting line up its pretty awesome. I'm more of a 'strength across the squad' type of thinking but would be tempted consider this if I still had WC.

WC still safe and no hits taken this GW. Could easily downgrade Cahill and upgrade Downing if needed too later.

Southampton look to have a few good fixtures left until I would start consider switching out any of their defenders.

Upto 83k now so not as bad as I first feared given that it is just 8gws into the season and my WC is still intact.

Is it? Could of easily scored a haul against Stoke away. Leicester haven't been too great defensively also. Even though I own Aguero I think he and Manchester City will struggle away at West ham. They are 4th in the league and City also have UCL. Pelle also tempting.

Could have, but didn't. He doesn't have enough goal threat in any capacity to warrant being in contention for captaincy to me. If you don't fancy Kun this weekend, Pelle is a much better choice, though I do not see Soton getting more than two goals in that game.

How many goals can you see Swansea getting though? Keep in mind he has only blanked once at home.

There you have it then. 1 goal and 2-3 assists for Siggy.

And I believe he has as much of a goal threat as ADM. Who is a very popular (C) choice on here.

Against popular opinion I thought he looked dangerous against Stoke especially early on. But he is definitely not captain material at the moment.

He has only blanked once at home and that was against Southampton, a game where they didn't even score. I also wanted to (C) him against Newcastle and I would of but everyone on this site said not to. He ended up with 10 points that game whereas Costa got 6.

When u cap Siggy, u can only hope for assists (very unlikely any goal)

        I would cap Kun

In the past seasons he has been known for his goal scoring ability, espically at Swansea. Check his history.

Is Aguero, Costa, Pelle to top heavy? Worth going Berahino over Pelle to allow me to get Baines down back or just settle for someone like Chambers/Hutton?

Cant you own both pelle and baines by downgrading someone like sterling. Pelle baines hav have too good form/fixtures wise to go without them

Aguero, Costa and Pelle is my top 3 and dont consider top heavy at all. Pelle is still in the mid price bracket imo

Not top heavy at all. Imagine all those potential points if they all fire!
