As always, our Sunday members’ regular delves into the data of the matches played out so far. This time around, Arsenal’s attack, Swansea’s in-form frontman, the Hammers’ raiding left-back and Southampton’s new wide man are amongst our evening assessment.
Phew
36 might still not be enough after autosubs.
🙁
Who has decent scoring subs? No one scored anything this week.
🙂
Although a Villa CS would spell danger.I've got Lovren coming off the bench for Costa, 7 points 🙂
I have N Taylor on for Costa. That's about as good as it gets
Costa (c)
Ahh, I have 28 but McCarthy and Zamora to play... Or 2 players from bench with 1 p each!
Danger Zone.
Mc carthy for cs
🙁
Unlucky 🙁
I am at a loss as what to do next. usually have too many ideas and can't decide.
What would you do? Appreciate any thoughts.
Forster
Baines - Clyne - Chambers - Hutton - Wisdom
Di Maria - Sterling - Tadic - Siggy - Boyd
Costa - Aguero - Welbeck0.5 in the bank
Midfield looks weakest IMO - I'd get some Chelsea or Arsenal in the mid given the decent games coming up.
Sterling to Oscar?+1
But not Sterling > Oscar. I'd stay clear from that if I was you. You could defo do with some Arsenal and Chelsea midfield. How many FT?just 1 unfortunately
I would do Adm > Sanchez/Haz personally..
Siggy ---->6.9
Very similar team here. Thinking of the Siggy move as well.
I have same front seven except Hazard instead of Tadic
I'm seriously considering going back to 3-5-2 and just going with Aguero and Costa up front and 5 strong midfielders. Welbeck pisses me off
Costa Siggy Ivanovic Falcao in my team, one FT ... These are the times I wish I never used my WC early on...
Ivanovic will serve his one-match ban vs Shrewsbury in the Capital One Cup and be available vs QPR in Gameweek 10.
Ideas on this lot?
Elliot ᵍᵏ Krul
Moore ᵈ Duff ᵈ Baines ᵈ Clyne ᵈ Chester
Hazard ᵐ Di María ᵐ Sterling ᵐ Albrighton ᵐ Sigurdsson
Welbeck ᶠ Pellè ᶠ Diego Costa
2 FT, £1.6m in the bank.
Don't mind a hit. Costa probably stays unless ruled out.
Cheers in advance.Looks a good squad goalies are an issue and I'm not sold on wellbeck obviously aguero would be nice. Downgrade adm till his fixtures improve for kun?
ADMs fixtures improve after City.
Hard to sell when I'll just want him back.
Aguero will probably need to wait unless Costa is out.
Welbeck is on his last week or out this week.Welbeck seemed dangerous Vs Sunderland, could easily have scored 2-3 times
He was a bit clueless. Article above tells a few stories.
I feel Sanchez and Aguero are important at the moment. How you fit them in, is another matter entirely.
Aguero is nearly impossible unless Costa goes. ADM could become Sanchez & a downgrade elsewhere would work. Agree with you though.
Downgrade a mid or Baines
Perhaps. Midweek games may force my hand.
Sterling to silva? Only if costa is passed fit.
Could do Sterling to Sanchez for free.
Sanchez price rose? I thought you can't afford him. If you can, do it. I am a gooner and Sanchez has been only bright spot. Unlike pool, arsenal have got some momentum going with 2 wins on the spin.
Agree with you that dropping AdM is madness.
Try and keep the 2FTs to get Aguero in the week after (or this week if Costa still looking dodgy)
This week just a boring Duff > Wisdom maybe
Team needs a freshen up I think. Could get away with Sterling to Sanchez but relying on Costa is now a pain.
If Costa goes Aguero has to come in IMO. But you would want to wait a week if Costa is fit. Problem is we probably won't know that till an hour before kick off.
WC time 😀
Sterling to Sánchez
Welbeck to Berahino
Should have done them last night, though.+1
i would get Chambers for someone if Costa and Siggy are likely to play and save a FT
Cheers all.
*hating team and team value* 😡
@MJ is it worth keeping hold of Pelle until GW13 to then replace him with Sturridge? Or is Aguero "essential"? I could do Siggy > Obertan + Fab > Barkley + Pelle > Aguero. That's all depending on Barkleys form.
I would say you can hold off Aguero this week if you want to. Need to get him in after that though.
So I shouldn't wait for Sturridge then? Aguero is very tempting tbh. Cheers.
news on siggy?
a) siggy
vs
b) mane
???????????b
“I’m very happy because Theo doesn’t look bothered about the injury that happened to him even though he has been out for 10 months,” Wenger explained. “I have to give him competition slowly in the next three or four weeks.
“His runs off the ball are fantastic and it always gives you hope that you can score goals. The pace we have in the side when he’s back is very impressive because Welbeck, Alexis and Oxlade-Chamberlain are also very quick.
“Could the attacking pace frighten defences? Let’s see. My imagination works like yours but I have to prove that they can work together on the pitch and that’s what I’ll try to do when everybody’s back.
“I don’t know if Theo will play against Burnley. We dropped points at home unexpectedly against Hull and that¹s why we have to focus on winning the Burnley game before I can plan giving Theo some competition.”Well you can just feck off then Arsene!
The point about hull is very interesting. Full fledge team. No rests
1) mane +2m
vs
2) sterlingWho should make room for Sanchez?
Sterlo
Siggy
ADM
Fabsummm... Sterling imo
IF you can afford, Siggurdson.
Then Sterling and Fabregas.Suspect this is right
Di maria. Looks like wing back and his luck seems to br running out
It hasn't, and won't for a week or two. His stats are supreme.
I agree with Doos 😯 !
Are you stupid? He created five key passes yesterday alone and has the joint top number of shots on goal for the last seven game weeks. He's also on most set pieces......and he also has no UCL football.
Nate is not stupid. At all. Try to be polite, mate.
This isn't true. Even in a wider role against the champions elect last night, he was heavily involved. I expect him to give City's back line problems.
Took a first -8 pts hit last night doing Siggy, Falcao, Fabianski to Courtois, Sanchez and Berahino.
Just in time to catch the price rise too. I don't like taking hits but I think this was necessary given form and fixtures.Hey guys, early opinions on these transfers please?
A) Sterling & Siggy -> Oscar & Mane
B) ADM & Sterling -> Sanchez & Oscar
C) ADM & Siggy -> Sanchez & Downing
D) just Siggy -> Downing
E) just Sterling -> Oscar
2 ft, 0.2 itb
Guzan, Foster
Baines, Bertrand, Clyne, Duff, Moore
ADM, Sterling, Siggy, Chadli, Tiote
Costa, Aguero, WelbeckPlay 2
A. ADM (MCI)
B. Henderson (NEW)
C. Sigurdson (EVE)A for sure and prob c if fit
I have all 3 and am dropping Henderson.
Anyone else thinking Fabregas may not play next weekend against QPR?
Already on 4 yellows and following game is against Liverpool...Good thinking... possible but IMO unlikely
Jose misses nothing. I think this is a real possibility.
I reckon he will play, if he picks up a yellow ramires could easily fit in for fabregas
unlikely
The games opening up nicely for a balanced front line with a premium a mid and a cheapie..
I'm not sure Aguero and Costa together is essential...
Aguero
Costa
RVP(?)
Rooney
Bony
Benteke
Pelle
Lukaku
Berahino
Cisse
SakhoWelbeck?
Yeah..a few others...Just making the point that what looked like essential only a couple of weeks ago may not be the case..
still should be there over benteke and cisse
It was only a few names I pulled out just to show the possibility of Premium/mid/cheapie..
Welbeck is working bloody hard. BUT - he has gone back to supply mode ...
He nearly scored a couple of times vs Sunderland
Bentekke no.
Cisse no.Got a way to go yet but they'll be ok.
Mmm. Cisse is proving to be one of those up-and-downers.
Aye.
I'm running with Aguero, Welbeck and Berahino atm.
Probably switch Berahino to Sakho in 2-3 weeks.
Welbeck is the one I'm not sure about.
Sakho out for up to a month.. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/west-ham-fear-diafro-sakho-4513085
Will start wilson this week then
Good ownership now should see him drop nicely..
🙁
Wait for the scan news, bad journalism.
Just noticed this at the bottom of the article also.. any chance? "Meanwhile, City striker Sergio Aguero could be facing a ban and trial by television from the Football Association."
Why is this a sticky? Per article it is not confirmed yet. Also can I conclude that aguero will be hit with a ban based on same source?
Guzan (Krul)
Clyne Bertrand Wisdom (Dummett Caulker)
Fab Siggy Tadic Sterling (Routledge)
Costa Welbeck Aguero
A bit stuck here ... Caulker neesd to be updagred, Siggy has yellow flag and Sterling is not performing .... 1 FT and 0.5 ITB
1) Sterling -> Ramsey
2) Sterling -> Sanchez + Siggy -> ? (-4 hit)
3) other idea ?Siggy > A Punt
prob is that I don't have enough cash to do Siggy -> Sanchez ....
Costa owners are we keeping this week? I want to if only he played even off the bench the worry of .2 or .3 drop would be gone. My squad is what I want atm but Costa is a worry especially considering Jose nt wanting him to pay for Spain in the break. I can see him resting fr 1 more even if fit so he can claim injured for the international.
If you have Costa, I think you have to wait until 11th hour or him being confirmed fit or otherwise before taking him out
this
Cheers mate I agree just dissapointed to see his price keep dropping not sold on any replacements really
@Evs do you on him and are keeping?
but then we're going to be optimistic with Mour's words again, and get trolled again 🙁
Damn now I wish I sold him earlier...
keeping
the way mourinhio described the issue sounded like there was a sought chance he would play on the weekend. I believe he will play next week. Also he was at training last Friday, should be at fitness again by QPR game
You guess he'll play, not believe. I guess he'll play too. You can't really put a more definite word on it than that. There's been too much 'he will play 100%' on here - all of it completely wrong. You must guess, and hope that your guess is correct.
no idea just yet
Situation bothers me , as I really want to get Hazard or Sanchez in, but currently looking at shipping Sterling (who's dropping like a stone) or maybe AdM, whereas using Costa to free fund would make things so much easier. But in that case I'd need to be certain he's out for QPR
Keeping.
The worst thing is that if he IS rested against QPR, all the casuals will continue to decimate his value, even though we all know he will be back perfectly fit and scoring the following week. It's a nightmare, but sometimes, even though you know better, you have to follow the crowd.
(I am a current Costa owner and would love to keep him in, but I am trying not to be the stubborn FPL player I have been in years gone past; will make money elsewhere if I need to)A low ownership Costa is more valuable than losing some value. And no doubt the same casuals buy him back following a big score and his value is restored.
SAKHO OUT UNTIL AFTER INTERNATIONAL BREAK!
2nd most transferred in aswell Hahaha school boy error for those that did.
http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/2245481-diafra-sakho-injury-updates-on-west-ham-stars-shoulder-and-returnI bought him last night for a hit 😀
Need to stay off FPL these daysMakes the decision to get Valencia that much easier
lol
he is going for a scan today morning!
relaxxxxxxxx
"I'm worried, we will know better after the scan on Monday"
Unless you are the radiologist I think it's early to make such claims.
Probably old news, but looks like Sakho is out for 4 weeks. The WHU striker that is..
Any ideas on this ?
Begovic McCarthy
Baines Bertrand Taylor PVA Moore
Hazard Sterling Tadic Sigurdsson Boyd
Aguero Pelle Welbeck
Want to sort defence because of PVA and Taylor fixtures but feel midfield needs more points
1FT 1.8 ITB - thanks in advanceMidfield is solid if Siggy is fit not sure on wellbeck. defence also solid but agree that Taylor and ova may have had there time
Hey guys. Terrible week.
Forster / Elliot
Hutton / Duff / Ivanovic / Baines / Wisdom
Di María / Fábregas / Sterling / Sigurdsson / Boyd
Agüero / Pellè / Welbeck
1 FT, £0.0m in the bank.
Thinking of the following: -
1. Di Maria >> Hazard.
2. Sterling >> Tadic.
3. Hold.
4. Any other transfer I could do?Sigurdsson out due to fixtures unless you think he's a 'season keeper'
Nothing wrong with your team IMOMight go Downing.
Mane or Tadic? Can't decide
Either or... Difference is .7(?) in price
I prefer Tadic given he´s on penalties also
After Chelsea, Liverpool's fixtures become the best in the league again. Worth hanging on to Sterling?
Not trying to persuade myself here, perfectly open to selling him but when I check the fixtures I find myself wanting a Liverpool mid!1) Last week everyone was saying it'll be mad to sell him.
2) Blanks against Hull.
3) Everyone saying get rid of him, no form etcExactly.
I am about to lose my profit on selling him this week, but the point is he is not injured and has cracking fixtures lined up. Best not to react, hey? They've had lots of shots but just can't find the net, almost regardless of the opposition.
Shouldn´t be about the fixtures. Liverpool´s form is awful. I don´t think it´ll change until Sturridge is back.
Is everyone keeping Siggy?
I know I am
i didn’t want to, but there’s a lack of options in his price range
planned to sell him for Chadli but now not anymore so probably keeping for now
Would double up on Newcastle (Dummet Krul) or West Brom (Foster Wisdom)
I kind of want to just get rid of Costa and upgrade a midfielder to Hazard/Sanchez, but I don't think this week is a good week for taking hits.. so many good midfielders / strikers have good fixtures, anyone could outscore anyone..
Start Krul (h) to Liverpool or Foster &@ Leicester?
Foster
Pick one for the next 3 game weeks (after that will be rotated).
A. Downing
B. Moses
Quick Question: Has downing had a dip in form or has he been unlucky in the past 2, plus will that continue because of sakho's injury?Ideas please? 2 FTs and 0.5 in the bank.
Foster Krul
Ivan Bertie Naylor Chester Moore
Sterling Eriksen Tadic Siggy Marney
Aguero Costa PelleThink you need a premium mid this week.
Ivan > Baines/Coleman?
No, Ivan has QPR at home.
Does he not have a ban for the red card?
He'll serve it in the Capital One Cup game midweek.
Money's tight
Think it could be their week to shine & you'll manage 12 points from your 4.
Not much Arsenal/Chelsea cover compared to most this week.Seems stupid taking anyone else out than Marney or Siggy and they're too cheap..
Plenty selling Sterling. Check Eriksens away stats. Tadic is a Hazard.
Hmm, they are still good options with current fixtures imo. Tadic will have to go soon but not this week.
Good luck either way. Not much you can do unless you use the 2 FTs or a hit.
Thanks, will probably try to get Hazard or Sanchez in somehow.
Pelle > Berahino
Sterling > Sanchez/HazPelle and Sterling are still good options
Not IMO they're not. You won't have Pelle for much longer anyway....
He has attacking returns in 6 of last 7 and plays Hull, Leicester, Villa next.
Then look at GW13 on onwards..
*and
It's over a month until they play City. Plenty of time to get rid. Right now Pelle is one of the best striker options, at least short-term.
Ok fair enough. You don't think Berahino and Haz/Sanchez will get you more points than Pelle and Sterling then? Also Berahino looks like he could possibly be moving to Liverpool in January so keep an eye out for him while he's cheap.
They might, but not willing to risk my 2 FTs on that, it could go either way. That would be great, except that everybody would own him.
Hard to say
I am struggling to see what you can afford that will improve
All cash tied in up front, suppose if Costa ruled out you could use his fundsCan you afford the ox?
Yes, if I take Siggy out. Worried about Ox's gametime.
I would look to downgrade pelle and swap sterling for hazard.
