Fellaini looking good again today! If LVG can turn that one around then he truly is a genius!

I don't know tbh. I'd probably bite and take Sterling out for Hazard or Sabchez, probably the latter as you'd make some money

Will leave me with a midfield and strike force of:

Sanchez, ADM, Fabregas, Sterling (Schnerderlain sub)

        Pelle, Ageuro, Berihino

and 0.4 in the bank to upgrade my keeper or defender next week.

Am on rank 19K and only 9 points seperate me from top 10K... Thats tight... But it has been great jumping from 645K to 19K in 2 weeks...

Still got Hutton to play. One goal from him with a CS and I might just get into top 10K tomorrow...

Will Costa be back next week vs QPR or should I first think of getting rid of Siggy?

I'm 60K and the Gargatron tells me that I'm closer to 200K than to top 10K 🙁

Wait and see. My guess is both Costa and Siggy will play next week.

            That doesn't mean mine doesn't. 😀

Yes the keeper is my main worry. But I kind like the idea of bringing Guzan or another 4.5 in as another option and dodge Gilks' drop. Saylor tempting me for Moore but with Baines, Clyne, Berty and Naylor I'm OK for the next month or so.

If fit I think Mike Williamson gets his spot back.

I'd sort the gowith those defenders you look in great shape.

I kind of hope you're right about Saylor as Newcastle will be back to shipping goals if so and I hate Pardew.

With Costa dropping it looks as if I could upgrade Gilks and still get Costa or even Falcao in for Welbeck if need be. Sound good or just switch Heaton out?

I would be dependent on a player dropping to try getting him back.

Its a plan that's doomed to failed I'd want to leave myself a bit of wiggle room.

If he is fit and plays against QPR there will be a lot of worried people

        1. Guidinho
          • 13 Years
          9 years, 7 months ago

Equally owners will be worried that Mou might consider not rushing him back for the mighty QPR. If its the groin/hamstring then thats possible, if it was the stomach bug/lack of energy then no reason he will not be up to speed.

One thing in Costa owners favour is that Drogs will probably play CC so asking three games in a week from him might be too much unless he plays a false 9

People will look at today's no show and think no rush getting him back he may not play.

It could be a masterstroke or a travesty which hammers the rank.

Glad to see him become differential ahead of such an obvious captaincy game for him.

He could make his return against Maribor in the week. I think I'd rather just have Hazard who is 100% nailed on for QPR.

Hazard is also a flat tracker. QPR is perfect for him to pick up a couple of penalties.

    Hutton, Wisdom Naylor, Wilson, Duff.

    Siggy Sterling Haz ADM Boyd

I had Fab and Terry, so very bittersweet for me.

Lost 6 points from Terry CS and baps, but gained two Fab baps. Would've preferred the lower owned Terry points though.

Zaha nailed on? I know it's Crystal Palace, but still looking for a cheap 4th midfielder to fund Aguero. £5.4m could be great value.

I have Boyd as my fifth mid and happy with him.. If you are not planning for playing your fifth mid a lot then it might be good to spend less on him

If he starts next game he'd be a lock at 5th mid. Looked decent yesterday and probably should have been awarded a pen in the first half

Well he's obviously not 'nailed on' but he's my 5th mid. Starting to look like he will come good

That's the problem Rover. This would be for my 4th mid (not 5th). Having Baines and wanting a front line of Aguero, Costa, Pelle means losing out somewhere.

Thoughts on my team? 0 FT and 0 ITB. Is there anything worth a -4?

    Clyne Hutton Baines
    Sterling Fab ADM Siggy
    Sakho Aguero Costa

If class > form > fixtures, then sorting through the likes of ADM Hazard Sterling Siggy Vs Sanchez Theo Oscar Barkley in the prime Midfielder spots is one of the biggest challenges of the season so far, imo.

Sanchez seems to be the only must get in that equation with Siggy the easiest to drop. Too bad they're the furthest apart in price.

I'm only 0.2 away from Siggy to Sanchez, it'd be such an easy move to make otherwise, a little bit gutting.
Hazard in instead will have to do!

    2FT how does this sound?

    Costa > Berahino
    Siggy > Sanchez or Eriksen

    Leaves me this:

    Krul
    Clyne, Moreno, Terry
    ADM, Fab, Sanchez, Sterling
    Sahko, Aguero, Berahino

    Wisdom, Marney, Hutton

Okay my current team - I have 2FT.

    Begovic (Gilks)

    Clyne, Baines, Moreno, Wisdom, PVA

    Sterling, Fab, Siggy, Chadli, Albrighton

    Costa, Aguero, Pelle

I'm twitching to do Costa > Sakho/Berahino so I can afford Siggy > Sanchez - also very wary of price changes making these changes less profitable if I wait.

    What are people's thoughts?

If you dont want to get back Costa when fit then do it...

It might be difficult to get him back when fit without hits if you downgrade him to upgrade mid...

Yeah that's what is niggling away at me. It would be easier if Costa was just out for a few weeks and my decision would be made. It's weighing up between having Costa/budget forward vs Siggy/premium midfielder.....which will reap the greatest reward?! FPL is taking over my life.
