You definitely called it about your defense. I'm guessing the bench players are a little sad as well, but other than that it looks fine mate.

    Hey All,
Limited internet access, as a result I am yet to see today's price changes. Is there a summary in the previous pages of the price changes?

yes just look back a few pages. I think just Bertrand and Baines rose. DCosta stayed put for some off reason.

    .....................forster................................
    ............baines ivano wilson....................... naylor hutton
    ..fabregas sterling siggurdsson milner......... jones
    ..........aguero costa welbeck......................

    I'm thinking about (midnight thoughts)

    Ivanovic + Milner ---> Wisdom + Ramsey

    far a -4 hit

Nasri is back and milner wont play.
Chelsea has been unlucky facing qpr and wba last seasons and probably will concede vs pool.

    Ramsey two goals.

Bur H is my reason to buy

also milner wont even play. 1 point max. Which makes it Ivan+4 points vs wisdom+ramsey points.

If ramsey scores which is likely if he starts which is likely the bandwagon is on.

Do you know if hes gonna start? Assuming you are following arsenal

Draft league side for gameweek 10...

    Begovic

    Kaboul/Dawson/Bertrand

    Moses/Barkley/Tadic/Mane

    van Persie/Adebayor/Lukaku (c)

    Bench: Tomkins/Walcott/Austin/Lallana/Mangala

Play Lallana or Walcott over one of the Southampton pair or does it look pretty much g2g?

Scrambled to a total of 41pts this - with Boyd & M. Wilson points coming off of the bench (grand total of 2pts) for Costa & Cisse.
      2FTs | 0.2m in bank

      Begovic
      Clyne Bertrand Wilson
      Sigurdsson Fabregas Sterling Di Maria
      Aguero Costa Cisse
      (McCarthy Moore Naylor Boyd)

Pending any news on Costa, I'm considering Sterling > Oscar. Worth a punt? If Costa is out, I may consider a -4 hit for: Costa, Sterling, Wilson > Wellbeck, Hazard, Baines/Coleman.

      Appreciate your thoughts

      Bank 0.2m, 2 freebies.

Best way to fund Sterling -> Sanchez?

      A) Chadli -> Boyd (4.9m available)
      B) Costa -> Welbeck/Lukaku (9.4m available)
      C) Baines -> Bertrand/Jags (5.7m available)
      D) Hazard -> Oscar (8.5m available)
      E) Forget about Sanchez

Midfielder A: 27 chances created, 11 shots, 2 in the box

Midfielder B: 23 chances created, 9 shots, 2 in the box.

Midfielder C: 22 chances created, 11 shots, 8 in the box.

Major dap if you can identify the three players.

          Alright 5 minutes are up:

          Player A = Fabregas
          Player B = Gerrard
          Player C = David Silva

Conclusion: Time to rebuy David Silva!!! Or stats are overrated... One of the two for sure.

Great now I have a new toy to play with. Just compared Tadic vs Silva stats. Check it out.

          Tadic vs Silva

          Key Passes 19 vs 20
          Chances Created 25 vs 22
          Assists 6 vs 2
          Total Shots 24 vs 11
          Shot Accuracy % 61% vs 56%
Shots Inside Area 11 vs 8
Shots Outside Area 13 vs 3
          Price 7.7 vs 9.1

            Total Passes 311 vs 603
Huge difference in total passes almost double. But difference in key passes is only 1 for Silva!

        Current team

        Foster (Mannone)

        Baines, Bertrand, Chambers (Moore, Hutton)

        ADM, Sterling, Siggy, Chadli (Boyd)

        Costa, Aguero, Pelle

        1FT and 0.1 ITB.

Is it worth doing ADM -> Fabregas, Chadli -> Mane for a -4?

Tough call. One of the Southampton boys, no need to double up. So lets say D and F. Even if Walcott plays you can't expect him to pick up where he left off. He will need a few weeks to adjust to the pace of the game and find his touch again

I'm not sold on Oscar long-term, but recently he has looked nailed and his output has been better than Hazard's. Wait for Chelsea's cup game for clues as to the lineup against QPR.

Dunno. Costa could very well start against the R's which is as tasty a fixture as they come. Understand the Sanchez move but again, Sterling could easily bite you back.

        Begovic (McCarthy)
        Baines Clyne Wisdom (Duff Hutton)
        ADM Sterling Siggy Chadli (Boyd)

        Current team :
        Foster (Krul)
        Baines Clyne Moore (Chester Naylor)
        Siggy Tadic Sterling Adm (Hendo)
        Sakho Aguero Costa

With Sakho Costa Siggy being doubts for this week should I make any transfers this week? Or is this team good to go for next week without any transfers? With hendo coming off the bench hopefully. 1FT 0M ITB

It's easy good enough. No point shifting Costa now, plus you've managed very well without him so far. I don't necessarily think Arsenal will go mental so no worries being short on Gooners.

I've just realised I can do the following transfers for free (2FT) and leaving me 0.0 in the bank.

Costa + Chadli OUT > Welbeck + Hazard IN

        Forster
        Baines Clyne Kaboul
        Hazard Fabregas Sterling Siggy
        Aguero Welbeck Pelle

Subs: 4.0 | Boyd Fodder Fodder

Pull the trigger on this one gentlemen?

I was bigging up 5-2-3 at the start of 13-14. The mids looked poor and I thought the new bap system favoured defenders.

It turned out I was right but I didn't have the balls to play it so it didn't help me at all. But I definitely think there are times when 5-2-3 works. Not sure now is the time.

I'm not either... but rolling with it as I think based on points produced per cost of player, it looks favorable over time though lacks the flash of the other attacking options.

                Baines Coleman Clyne Bertrand Chambers

Will bring in Chelsea cover to replace one or two of the last three listed imminently... Terry coming in *after* his goal against QPR unfortunatetely

Limits captain choices too, I suppose. But then your front few players would have to be the best out there with the money saved.

Welp, that was a miserable WC week...one would think that this team that I received nothing but positive feedback on would have fared better than 38 points, but hopefully that's what the future holds:

        Guzan (Krul)
Ivanovic, Baines, Rose (Wisdom, Steven Taylor)
        Sterling, Tadic, Sigurdsson, Fabregas (Boyd)
        Berahino, Aguero (c, HA!), Pelle

Yeah, that's no longer good enough, though 🙂 But on a weird week, I'll take it. Next week I'll probably stand pat to get ADM back in when the fixtures abate, unless he manages to kill himself in the meanwhile... Every single time he is on the ground, I cringe, both as a Man United fan and as a Fantasy player...

and yet, you're probably better off with Foster and Myhill and .5 extra in the bank

          - some of Foster's clean sheets have come in away games against opposition you'd bench him against if you were rotating

          - Foster is fragile and is out injured more than most GKs

          - Schmeichel is not going to get you many points, regardless of how good the fixtures are he still plays for Leicester

              fair enough

I've ridden Foster Myhill since week 1; in hindsight Guzan Given or Heaton Giks could have been better but its been alright...

and I've done the most important thing with the GK position, forget about it because it barely matters

I'm not a fan of rotating keepers. There doesn't seem to be that much difference between home and away cleanies, which means there's a fair chance of missing them.

My tactic is to choose one and stick a 4.0 on the bench. If you have to use a transfer on your keeper at some point, so be it.
