Seems fairly optimistic. Its a strange season where the smaller teams have struggled a bit for clean sheets. They are even scoring against each other.

With such consistent returns now, I'm not sure if Baines is a "never bench, never captain" player. Since he has the returns of a mid, plus the clean sheet bonus, you think he's now viable almost every week to take the armband?

He's an interesting one - on pens which helps, especially if Bolaise and Zaha retain their starting positions. Away for the Asian Cup which starts on the 8th January, so depending when he'll travel to Oz, he might be unavailable during the busy festive period (which is when you'll need your 5th mid the most.)
Too expensive for a fifth mid and not good enough as a fourth mid. He won't get penalties every week and offers very little else.
