There you are. I'd like to discuss the events of November 22nd relative to our discussions on November 21st.

          Ah yes.

Well, Rooney didn't blank and he didn't get a brace either. So I guess we're even without changing gravs? Or do you suggest otherwise? 🙂

Ah. The voice of reason. I have to admit I was sweating. But then I was fuming. You might've got away with one there with that offside whistle. 😆

Quite a few took hits in the 30s.
Will start removing teams in a few hours.

I would pick Terry personally. I just like knowing my defs can score the odd goal sometimes. Was priceless today with Clyne's goal for example

Btw, we ended up agreeing on the trade, could go either way but i think it was worth the risk

      1. NABIL - FPL otai
        • 11 Years

I know. If I do JT, I'd still have 0.4 itb, enough to do Fab to ADM/Haz for a hit 😉

Yep, I think the risk is worth taking. Good luck with it.

        1. rickardinho
          • 9 Years
          9 years, 6 months ago

Fab is better than ADM imo, especially if you got him at 9.0. I only sold him to get Sanchez.

Hazard seems to be all the rage this week though, and for good reason. I might have to do Tadic>Hazard with a (-8) swing to make it happen but i think it could be worth it.

Thanks again for the advice, much appreciated.

Doubt it mate. I can even see a bit reshuffle at wbrom this weekend. He could play ideye or any chubby up front and Berahino out wide.

Also, Austin has lei and bera has arsenal

Obviously Austin has better chances to bring points on paper

Leicester just kept a cleanie. Meanwhile Arsenal once again look like a circus at the back.

And no, the red card doesn't mean there'll be a shakeup for the Albion. Folks are being incredibly harsh on Berahino.

It has nothing to do with the red card, they are just not performing well last few weeks, vs Newcastle at home in particular. I expect a reshuffle and let me be cliche here :

      Solid backline Roja, cleanies everywhere.
Tadic would be main concern in midfield, a likely 2 pointer awaits. Though AdM & Hazard will likely cover his baggage. Though obviously get rid soon & would be keeping my eye on a future Alexis transfer.

Up top is the best you;ll get right now, great front three mate. You'll do solid this GW, definitely above the average w/ the front three & backline alone 😉

    Forster
    Baines - Clyne - Chambers
    Fabregas - Sanchez - Siggy - Chadli
    Aguero - Pelle - Sakho

    McCarthy Downing Wisdom Moore

Had a poor GW with Downing, Moore, Baines, Chadli and Sakho out!

I'll probably ship Forster for Guzan and the other may be:

    a) Clyne --> Naylor/Azpi/Caulker

    b) Pelle --> Bony

Would love to get Rooney/Costa for Pelle but not sure the best way for it.

    People's thoughts greatly appreciated!!!

only 3 more options to choose from minus bruce

bartley (short term 2-3 more games, good chance of CS in next 2)

S.taylor (injuried but seems more secure and NEW on better form though tougher fixtures and williamson might be back)

Wasilewski (current 1st choice until moore is back..tough fixture though..almost a solid 1-2pts)

enjoy choosing which one u want

Surely Bony can keep up with Costa on those fixtures?

And surely Costa will get his 5th YC soon - especially if I bring him in?

    1. Man Chest Hair United
      • 10 Years

could easily keep pace but Costa also has great fixtures and will keep scoring the baps thing is an issue with him for sure. Bony represents better value

    2. La Roja
      • 12 Years

Problem with bony is, his game time

Gomis lurking around and if bony doesn't score until an hour mark, monk replaces him with Gomis straight away

      1. Zasa
        • 9 Years
        9 years, 6 months ago

That is a solid point, he was lucky Siggy was subbed off this time.
It seems one performs at the expense of the other, few times they've hauled in the same game.

Either way, Bony hold superb value right now & this is the lowest he'll get all season. With these fixtures & form, could very well be the time to capitalize

        1. La Roja
          • 12 Years

I agree, there is a risk on his game time but could be a calculated one.

I'll let you in on a secret... The defense im currently on works very well in rotation:

              Baines Clyne Naylor Chambers Wisdom...

though im doing Chambers>Yun/Caulker or maybe Terry/Azpi in GW14 depending on cash.

or I could afford Terry over Azpi? is he worth the extra .3?

Thanks to shifty i've got my creative juices flowing:
How do people feel about Yaya and Welbz > Kun and Bolasie

like it Aguero is needed and Bolasie could be a good differential

I'm beginning to come around to this way of thinking as well, plus Bolasie has relatively good fixtures while Southampton's dry up for a few weeks

Yaya is starting to grind into gear i think

Urgh I know thats really whats holding me back, i've had him for two weeks and i've been very pleased with what I saw. I honestly would love to forget about Kun and just do Mane, Cresswell and Welbeck > Ayoze/Kane, Sanchez and Yun -4...but I dont think it will end will if I just forget about Kun

If I had Yaya right now I'd probably drop sanchez instead. Sanchez could see some rotation and won't play as a striker now that giroud is back

I disagree here wholeheartedly Rick, Giroud will only affect Welbeck imminently.
Sanchez was never really "benched" so much as he was being matured into the premier league & Arsene taking caution for his knock.

Alexis has been slotted on the left or in the hole, he can play on either side. This is the same notion people were making about Naismith under threat when Barkley was coming back, in the end he was slotted to another position up top. Nothing else.

Can't see any reason why he would bench him in the near future, his workrrate & tenacity is at the heart of everything good Asenal right now. Arsense knows, this, he'd be mad to bench right now.

Yaya is in good form, but can;t see him being worth it over both Alexis & Aguero right now.

I'd get Kun in a heartbeat NTFM, Bolasie is a great punt & definitely has the game time to back it up. Though is possible (when fit) I'd eye Downing.instead. Good choice either way.

Fair enough. Each to their own I guess! 🙂

Fwiw I do have Aguero and Sanchez, so my point was only relevant if you already had Toure. He's got much better fixtures than Sanchez too btw 😉

                🙂

Good lads the both of them 😉 True, he does have some solid fixtures. Alexis is in a much better position to score consistently than Yaya IMO,

Yaya could be nice when Kun is injured & Yaya's on pens, but for the time being, Alexis holds the bigger threat & he's producing on all fronts, both domestically & internationally. Don;t let the blank fool ye! 🙂

TFF, what do you think of Pelle>Ings, Tadic>Hazard (-8)?

Would leave me with 2.0itb to use in GW14 when I want to get rid of Chambers, and could get me Terry or Cahill, or with some massive luck perhaps even Coleman (0.2 short it seems)

I have just managed to accumulate the lowest ever position in a gameweek after finishing a respectable 70 000 in the previous gameweek. I am no expert at this game and can be impulsive at times with transfers, but this must be some sort of record 2 758 168 which means I was lower than people who have probably not participated since gameweek 1.
Anybody else in the same boat.

    Forster Mccarthy
    Baines Chambers Naylor Hutton Moore
    Sanchez Oscar Siggy Chadli Boyd
    Costa Aguero Pelle

    Which one should i choose?
