Pantilimon for save points and the odd CS..
    Double West Brom
    Bellerin
    Hutton
    Wollscheid etc..

Do we really need both Terry/Berty atm or just one of em.. cant decide what to do with my WC defense..

terry and berty are for the goals in them , though we never sure when that will happen..they have the best defense in the league , most nailed on as well..

Got Terry @6.3 so wanna keep.. however if i sacrifice him i get 3 Chelsea attackers.. i like the idea of a double or even triple West Brom.. even 6 CS's over the next 14 games and it's worth it

Not convinced with Bellerin. Surely at least one of Terry/Berty is needed. But obviously not essential.

I'll have Chels/Soton in but I guess it's your preference. Not too keen on Hutton.

I see many risks with this defense and I wouldn't go that cheap. Stoke don't keep enough CS. Bellerin not guaranteed to start. I think you should have 2 out of Chelsea/Soton/Utd and go cheap on the other 3. Small teams are hard to predict and can go in bad spells easily. At least you'd have 2 guaranteed CSs every week.

Yeah i guess.. i think i'm gonna end up with Terry Berty Wisdom Baird and one of Hutton/Wollscheid/Pva/Bellerin

Yeah, I've been toying with taking Terry out myself. There are the budget options you mention, also Kos, and maybe Jones. Frees up a bit of cash for other spots. Then I look at the ticker and think wow, nice set of fixtures for Chelsea, after City of course.

Also, the cup games may cause a blank in GW27. If we know Chelsea wil have a blank, I may go down to only 2 Blues on my WC team.

Evening lads! First WC draft, really like it. What are you thoughts? Absolutely nothing left in the bank.

    Ospina, Krul
    Ivanovic, Clyne, Bellerin, PVA, Baird
    Sanchez, Hazard, ADM, Downing, Colback
    Costa, Aguero, Kane

like it, not sure about Downing due to fixtures but I am also on a WC and keeping him. I don't think ADM is up to full speed since his injury - could be a good move however with their fixtures and he should get fitter before the next PL game. Like the defence.

I got downing at 5.5 so I'm reluctant to sell. And form over fixtures is what they say! If ADM flops he's an easy downgrade to silva or caz etc

I think that's about as solid a WC team as I've seen. Will Ospina and Bellerin continue to start? Downing has tough fixtures but then West Ham are pretty tough too.

Cheers mate! I think they should keep their place short term. Krul as back up if he's dropped and Bellerin is an easy downgrade to Hutton when his fixtures improve

i am getting Ospina myself, not sure if i want Krul

Since Ospina had played agst Man C, i think he has to be nailed for now

I am not selling downing myself, just get a good 5th mid to cover him will do

          Good team!

How does this wildcard team look?

    Pantilimon, Krul
    Terry, Bertrand, PVA, Baird, Hutton
Hazard, Sanchez, Di Maria, Silva, Puncheon
    Aguero, Kane, Berahino

    1.2m ITB

Berahino and Puncheon rotate well together.
Could do ADM/Silva, Berahino -> Boyd, Costa if Costa keeps performing.

    Foster
    Terry Clyne Baines
    ADM Hazard Sanchez Chali
    Aguero Austin Kane

    2.6m ITB

Next week I'm pretty flexible with transfers..
    1. Baines Chadli -> 6.5m Fab / Walcott
    2. Baines Austin -> 4.5m Costa
    3. Chadli Austin -> Siggy Giroud / Pelle
    4. Baines Chadli Austin -> 4.5m Fab Giroud
    etc

🙂 .. ideal.. though 0.2 more for a constant dilemma every week 🙂 .. Krul is basically in there to cover for Panti just twice over the next 12 or so.. and for the run in when Panti's fixtures go sour

Shameless WC team post, Looking ok?

    Panti Myhill
    Terry Wisdom Jones PVA Bellerin
    Haz Sanchez Cazorla Elia* Ameobi
    Kun* Costa Kane

    0.1 ITB

*Elia is just in there to catch any potential rises resulting from the bandwagon, will change to Punch before gwk24. Considering moving Kun for Giroud for gwk24 then getting back afterwards

Very solid, could prob downgrade one of your promo Def.. But who could you get punch to?? Very solid, your West Brow def won't play much and I can see them getting a few cleanies

I would. Tottenham will be scoring goals and Eriksen will be involved in most of them. Surely more in him for rest of season than punch.. PVA and your two west brom more than enough to cover last three def spots

similar to mine , I have Elia instead of Boyd , Clyne instead of Fonte . I know that feel of 3 big def blocking wisdom chances , but it's up to our choice on who to play isn't it ? Kosc have great fixtures as well , decent defence atm , has goals in him .

I was planning on keeping but I'm having second thoughts. I got him at 5.6, so I'd like to keep but I can see his scoring dropping off over the best few weeks. If that does happen, then he'll drop in price and I'll get him back later. That's how I'd like it to go anyway.

Is it completely insane to bring in Oscar for Haz? I made into the top 11K without Haz, brought him in two weeks ago and it hasn't gone well.

You could maybe get away with it because all the chelsea attackers are good picks. Personally don't want to get rid of Haz because he seems like the Chelsea player who is going to play 90minutes week in week out. Plus penalties

Yep, your last two points are the key. I don't really remember Haz being rested, while Oscar comes off early or doesn't play at all. And who doesn't love owning a penalty taker. (Ummmmm, other than Baines/Mirallis today, that is.)

So most are taking a little punt on Bellerin thinking he'll be a consistent starter. Watch Wenger make Ospina the consistent starter out of the two 😆

The difference is if you go ospina+ filler and. Ospina gets dropped you're hosed. Bellarin loses his place and you can just stash him on the bench.

Yeah he's a way safer punt. Unless I had two keepers I'd avoid Ospina for now.
Got Wolleschied instead right now though. Rotates better with my defenders and is likelier to be a consistent starter. Might get Bellerin later...hopefully not when it's too late. Missed the Chambers boat a few times.

As long as he plays or doesn't play, it would be ok. Just wouldn't want any cameos.

Which option is better for the wildcard?

    Puncheon or Elia
    Ings, Kane or Austin

Played my wildcard last week and took out Henderson and Erikssen for AdM and Sterling. Balls. Bentekke to Ings was the only move that worked.

Now I feel like ripping up my team again. What's the consensus on United attack? Fixtures look good and surely LvG can't keep messing up? Worth holding on AdM right?

Lot of love for Puncheon here. But people think he is a viable 4th MF?

  20. Eze Really?

My view: Puncheon if Elia loses his place longterm. Kane because he is in a better side. I think all players are about form though.

    On my Wildcard:

A - Terry and Elia/Punch (if so, which?)

B - Azpi (back next GW) and Downing/Henderson (if so, which?)

Maybe Elia, I guess he will be marked due to his brace and his goals were lucky.

Does there seem to be a pressing need to WC with this lot?

    Guzan
    Bertrand Vergini Terry
    Silva Hazard AdM Sanchez
    Costa Austin Kane

    xx Boyd Naylor Hutton

I want Aguero in my WC team but I don't see the point of saving funds and wasting my FT to get him in next week. Especially since every week some new guy makes a claim into our lineups.

However, I have a fragile TV that can be broken this week due to price rises making next week awful.
