Amongst tonight’s topics are Chelsea’s stand-in striker and in-form wide man, the City midfield, Palace’s form players at both ends of the pitch and Villa and Arsenal’s clinical frontmen.

I'd say yes, but I'm not going to rule out Aguero scoring big

im leaning towards but benching such an expensive and big name player is a bold move

I think Aguero's record vs Man United is too good to disregard right now, IMO. Five goals in six matches and with another against United in the FA Cup it's six goals in seven games.

      Rest of your attackers?

hello great minds! need some help for this upcoming GW....

    Myhill (Foster)

    Clyne, Berty, PvA (Bruce, Naughton)

    Haz, Sanchez, Erik, Silva (Boyd)

    Austin, Kun, Kane

I was originally thinking to get rid of Sanchez to fund Costa, but that is no longer an option. What would be best with my 2 FT?

    a) Foster to Davis
    b) Naughton to Everton defender up to 5.2
    c) Naughton and Erik to Terry and Henderson/Mane/Siggy
    d) Erik and Austin to Henderson/Mane/Siggy and Giroud
    e) Erik and Austin to Henderson/Mane/Siggy and Remy

    Cheers!

I'd strongly consider it yeah. Wait for news on Costa though. cos you may have to think about potentially getting rid of Remy in GW34 if Costa comes back. So maybe Gomis could be better option. I have the luxury of a WC so I'm doing Austin>Remy and then Remy to Costa in the WC if need be.

Think about Chelsea and Liverpool cover for GW34 though, if indeed Liverpool do have their DGW schedules for them. You have one more Chelsea space right? What's your budget right now?

OK. Include these things in your original post mate, changes everything! I'd def get Remy and consider another transfer too but prob not. All depends on when you plan to use your WC. Options are prob GW34 or 35. I'd prob say 34, esp if Liverpool get their DGW then.

If so, just sort your team out for the next 2 weeks and make sure you have a good XI for next week when Arsenal don't play. Prob get rid of Sanchez next week for a one week gamble and then get him back in the WC if you want.

I'd keep Eriksen despite his iffy form, purely for his fixture. Myhill has a great fixture also so not reason to change Foster yet. Try and keep 2FT for the DGW

I agree to an extent but I certainly underestimated the desperation of both QPR and Villa to go on the attack and get results in a bid for premier league survival. I guess that goes beyond the standard form+fixtures analysis before the GW started.

And you could easily extrapolate that principle and apply it to a team like Leicester. That said, as mentioned above, I think the rotation there within the attack makes it a bit trickier.

The difference here is that Chelsea are likely going to play for the title. I possible defeat to Arsenal in that same GW will certainly prompt them to smash Leicester. The Burnley game though could be interesting but to be competitive against Chelsea is a step too far I feel.

Hurting from last GW, not sure if my season is over but will fight to the end. Need to cope with GW33 first.

    K.Davis
    Terry - Fonte - C.Dawson
    Sanchez - Hazard(c) - Mane - Silva
    Aguero - Kane - Giroud

Bench: Panti - PvA - Boyd - Naughton

    2.2m in bank.

I've already used 1 FT to do Ospina -> K.Davis for the blank GW. Should I save the next FT and roll over? Or replace Sanchez with a playing midfielder?

Yeah, unfortunately I was of the reckoning that money would be tight so the 4.8m -> 4.4m switch looked better than the 4.5m -> 4.4m switch. Now that Costa is confirmed out, it's not looking so important now.

      Absolutely this.

My biggest mistake of the season - ditching Gir for Austin in the previous DGW.

My second biggest mistake of the season: not getting Austin for his hatrick earlier on in the season. It was on my mind the whole week....get Austin, captain him....but I didn't do it.

Less is definitely more. That's why I held off selling Sanchez this time around

Might just bench Sanchez during that Arsenal blank.
Also with Liverpool winning tonight do we know when the DGW is?

    K. Davis
    Lescott Bertrand Fonte
    Silva Eriksen Hazard Sanchez
    Aguero Kane (C) Austin

    Bench: Zouma, Wollscheid, Lucas.

Easy save for this weekend, mate. Liverpool DGW will either be 34 or 37. For your sake you'd hope it is 37 as you need to spend both of your next transfers on getting two more Chelsea in.

Cheers. If Liverpool have their DGW in 34 then I might have an issue. I really want to get Sterling in soon now that he's back into position. Coutinho looks decent too.

Presuming that Liv/Hull is rearranged for 34 and we have LIV, CHE, LEI, HUL DGW...

And you play a WC in that DGW...what's the prime formula you are aiming for in terms of max points AND decent prospects heading into 37 where ARS/SUN have DGWs?

    LIV x 3
    CHE x 3
    LEI x 1 (Schlupp?)
    HUL x 1 (N'doye?)

    2xArsenal benched?

If Rodgers goes back to the diamond you don't know how he'll lineup. It'd be nice if he played Sterling at CAM in the diamond with Coutinho as a CM though. Out of them I'd probably go Sterling. Looks dangerous all the time for Liverpool and England. Henderson is leading the team with 12 assists this season though.

Tough! Go with the gut. I'd think it's best to go with a combination of two of Sterling, Cout, and Hendo. Sturridge just too wildly overpriced for his porous returns to date, not to mention his inconsistent gametime.

He would be the third of three Liverpool players I'd be looking to bring in on a DGW. I always opt for attackers as I see more upside and explosiveness for points there than I do in defense. If Liverpool were to get their DGW in 37 I'm sure it would be fairly easy to navigate three onto the team, but in 34 it would be much tougher. I'd rather go with two attackers and no hit than a defender and an attacker. But if you can, two attackers and Skrtel would obviously be most beneficial.

Nah u are right. But i would say it depends on which is the best team u can form given the dgw options. If there are less options in defense for eg..then u should go for a defender

It also depends on who you hve to remove. If its in 34 do you really want to take out Silva Hazard or Sanche to accomadate a second liv mid?

What will your possible transfers be,

To accommodate the main fantasy prospects from Chelsea, Leicester, Hull, Liverpool for their DGW34 (assuming Liverpool and Hull gets their DGW fixture at GW34) ?

With as less hits as possible of course.

    What to do with this??

    2FT, 0.4 itb

    Myhill,
    Iva, PVA, Dawson,
    Hazard, Sanchez, Silva,
    Kane (c) Austin, Aguero

    Panti, Yoshida, Hutton (inj), Ameobi

    A: Thinking Austin -> Gomis
    B: Somthing else??

Save other FT to ship Sanchez and somebody for GW33.
Realize i run into problems with defense GW 33 with PVA and Yoshida not a cover option.

    Something else?? Any advice appreciated!

Apologies, was thinking 4.8m ITB. In that case you can probably get a cheap bench fodder from LEI or HULL to accommodate for their DGW as your starting back 3 is already looking great (Clyne, Terry, Alder)

tbh...your team is solid, as much as i hate keeper transfers you could dump krul for Davis K. Save the other transfer for next week. Or Mane to Hendo or Coutinho...but Pool will have a blank w their win today.
