As for your team, I'd do A or C. Sunderland strikers are a lottery and can't be relied on. Vardy will be useful in GW38.Rotation is now an issue with Wilshere, Walcott & even Arteta sniffing around.
Caz seems more nailed & has pens & Ramsey is more forward. Could even switch them with my FT or lose Giroud & get both for a hit. So many options that the pressers may confirm.
Cambiasso and Vardy could be good shouts for GW38 so perhaps hold them. What about
D) McShane -> SUN defender (O'Shea if fit) and go 4-4-2Pants & PVA is plenty imo.
Probably right, but I'd have more faith in a SUN cleanie than a goal given how negative they are. That being said I have Panti, PVA & Gomez, so if you want an attacker then I'd go with A) Gomez and hope for pens.

Hey DZ, won't be able to log into my team for at least a week or so as I'm going to Argentina. So will have to set-up my team now for the DGW. FWIW I already have my 6 DGWers in place, and the one immediate flaw I can see right now is Moreno who I'm relying on to start to have a good defense this week. Cambiasso also a minor concern considering his lack of returns of late and will be relying on him in the final GW (QPR), also perhaps a Hazard to Silva move could be a decent bet considering I'm 50 points behind the top 10k and it may be decent way to cover my track/differentials assuming Hazard is benched.
Original plan since WC was Benteke to Kane (HUL), then back to Benteke (BUR), but Spurs as an outfit have been woeful and isn't an option for me right now. Saving the FT could also be a good bet tbh, apparently the final GW is always a lottery,and perhaps taking 2 wild punts could be worthwhile. Anyway..........(1 FT, 1.2m ITB)

I share your views comrade Badger, think Kolarov could be a good differential seeing as most are still concerned with the DGW at hand. May be a bit kneejerky, but of all defenders right now and considering ManCity's attacking form of late, he may have the highest upside.

Is it best to pick an attacker from a team that needs a result to stay up/get auto CL qualification such as Aguero or Sanchez, or are these games more likely to be close, tense affairs, whereas a dead rubber games like Leicester v QPR (if LEI are safe by then) or EVE vs TOT could be more open/free scoring?
A bit like that Lukaku hat trick against United for WBA in a 5-3 a couple of season ago.

How to secure a mini league - any tips?
I've just taken the lead in mine. I'm now 5 points clear of second but only 14 points clear of fourth. I have the best chance of winning, let's say it's 1 in 3, but that means that I have a 2 in 3 chance of being overtaken.
Is it easier to be in a position playing catch up? I say that because three teams can take gambles and it only takes one of them to pay off to beat me. There's no room for failure with my team. I know from the previous month that all of them will take points hits to try to find the week's Aguero.
So what would you do? Play as if you were also playing catch up? Or minimise the points hits knowing that it might give an extra 8 points breathing room?I was in the same boat last season (ok, I am this season as well). Look at your competition's biggest differential and try to get those players; at the end of the day, it's not a careless gamble you will kick yourself over. Now the guy I just stole 1st from who decided to (C) Benteke while I had Aguero? He's still trying to get his own foot out of his ass.
They all have Silva so his late goal was a right pain in the ass. He has the potential to mess me up so I'm pretty sure I need to get him this weekend.
Oof missing out on Aguero (c) is a disaster for him. Won't be many more popular captains hitting hat tricks this season.

Need a bigger lead to play cover games. Still rather be leading but it's more stressful. In GW38, it's about anticipating rivals movesby looking at team value etc. I would make transfers in the last minute before deadline. Just need to concentrate on most points & blocking the essential differentials and finding good differentials to improve your score.
Good advice TM, and I think it's Silva who has most potential to damage me. Maybe not at the Liberty but probably in GW38.
You have the points you are at the advantage. Punts are punts for a reason. Just keep calm and do what you think will get you the most points.

Keep in mind that the comparison tool can be dangerous! A lot of those stats do not translate into points as well as current form. Exhibit A: Everyone getting Ozil lately.

Agree with both of you, especially since Ramsey has a history of consistency. You would have to say he is a lot less attacking than he was last season when he racked up all the points though.

If youre just looking to consolidate your position I feel ditching Haz is too risky. His ownership is so high could send you tumbling.
Moreno//Bertie looks the week link alright. I would sell Bertrand to Bellerin. You wouldnt play him against City in final GW anyways and if he's dropping spares you the fall there. Unless Moreno looks like dropping too.
