The Big Numbers – Midfielders – Last Four Gameweeks

After delving into the Gameweek 5-8 data for Defenders yesterday afternoon, we now set our sights on the midfielders. Arsenal’s in-form duo arrive under analysis, whilst we also cast an eye over City and West Ham’s summer signings and analyse the recent displays of Southampton’s wide men as the fixtures turn in their favour.

So Aguero -> Pelle looks like a straightforward decision

which means Hoolahan can become Silva 😆

I actually quite like Kun being out. Opens things up a bit and suits the 3-5-2. Could do without the 4-8 pt hit I'll be taking as a result though lol

How could you dislike magical weekends like last one. It's what we live for in FPL and Kun is pretty much the only one that can deliver those

He has another game. Hope he stays fit. Like Aguero, he is fun to watch; not just from an FPL standpoint.

#MCFC are sweating on the fitness of Aguero who was replaced during the first half v Ecuador after suffering an apparent hamstring strain

I realise it is prob old news on here now..

Wait for scans ... he could be doing the "international injury" thing, complete with stretcher and City physio on standby.

Or you might wanna think about Walcott.

Need advice. Aguero - Pelle and Sako - Silva for a -4? Or Aguero - Lukaku, Sako - Silva and Mahrez - Mane for a -8? Vardy and Ighalo are my other two strikers.

Just hoping its only a minor strain, two or three weeks out. This is when your 8th attacker can come in handy.

Isn't Aguero>Bony the obvious move? Same fixtures, same people assisting him, and now he's going to get good game time and find his feet at the club and maybe play like he did at Swansea...or maybe better!

      Fixtures aren't great tho right.?
Plus he isn't Aguero. Not anything as prolific.

Lukaku, Pelle the guys I have my eye on.. ATM.

Bony's crap though. The midfield will just play around him and get all the goals like they did last season. Bony is used as a diversion when he plays as the lone striker.

We ll be guessing this for a while.

      Minor: 1-2 weeks
      Moderate: 3-5 weeks
Major: 6+ (i.e. off the bone)

It's moreso the fragility and lack of fitness after, and the fact that Kun has done this 100 times before so they'll ease him back with cameos rather than just whacking him straight back in for 90 mins.

      Very frustrating injury

Did mine in August, took me about 5 weeks from not being able to stand properly at all to fully fit again, but Aguero has physio's and I just had some frozen peas.

For people on a WC gw 11 this is huge. A forward line of Kun, Pelle, Lukaku without Kun can lead to monstrous possibilities in mid and defence.
