I genuinely think they'll stay up. Not so much because they are too strong, but rather because there is some serious lack of talent in those other teams. Sunderland, lack resilience and cohesion.

great team, not sure about Mahrez vs Utd but your best mid option I guess - think he might start to struggle vs the good teams over the next few GW's

I captained Sanchez this week too 🙁

I dont know. Sanchez is up there for goals imminent. I think he will be a low ownership captain choice and is capable of scoring goals in hauls. Plus he is "due". Just like he was before got fot that hatrick 🙂

Oh and we both think Norwich will go down ao a no brainer.. its meant to be!!!

Not only did I by no means regain the hit, but Moreno - who I took the hit to avoid playing - outscored Dann. Moreno @ City outscored Dann HOME to Sunderland.

      1. BbBb
        • 9 Years
        8 years, 7 months ago

ouch, could you not have taken out anyone else?
Both Dann and Moreno have good CS potential fixtures coming up.
I'd stick with Dann now, think he'll bounce back

I took out Richards, but my best option before the transfer was to play Moreno. And I didn't want that.

          It backfired. Massively.

Yeah in hindsight I should've just done that and dropped my Dann obsession. But in my head Moreno was a guaranteed 1-pointer and I really did see a CS for CP along with Danns goal threat.

    Butland | Gomes
    Monreal | Kolarov | Souaré | Prödl | Francis
    KDB | Sánchez | Mahrez | Ayew | Mané
    Pellè | Vardy | Lukaku

    2 FT | £0.9 ITB

A few moves I am considering:

    A) Pellè + Mané ➡ Kane + Lingard
    B) Pellè + KDB + Mane ➡ Aguero + Ozil + Lingard
    C) Pellè + KDB ➡ Aguero + £6.5 Midfielder

So I've been in a right quandary about what to do with my strikers. It's kept me up at night. So the only way I can release this anxiety is through song.

    Tune: Bohemian Rhapsody

    -------------------------

    Greater than real life
    Glorious Fantasy
    Up front we need five
But we can only make room for three

    Over analyse,
Is Kun worth that price, for me?
I'm just a poor boy, struggling with my TV,
I'm not easy come, easy go,
Do I go cheap, with Ighalo?
Anyway that I go, is guaranteed to go wrong for me, for me.

    Pelle, your time is up.
I've cut you too much slack,
    And had very little back.
    Harry, welcome back my boy.
But this next move might throw it all away.

    Vardy, ooooooh,
    I've seen the fixture list,
I have my doubts whether you'll be able to...
...carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters.

Too late, my mind's made up,
    Sent shivers down my spine,
You've been scoring all the time.
Goodbye sweet Jamie, you've got to go,
Gotta leave you in the past and get Giroud.

Vardy, oooooooh (chat sh*t, get banged),
    Ten games in a row,
This makes no sense, this is my toughest call.

I see Norwich Sunderland Villa coming up
Oh Giroud, oh Giroud, will you outscore Jamie Vardy?
    Leicester fast as lightning,
    Very, very frightening me.
    (Oh Claudio) Ranieri
    (Oh Claudio) Ranieri
    Oh Ranieri you're a God.
    Magnifico.

Gorgeous Olivier, no room for Vardy
He's just a poor boy from a poor family,
I need some fine wine not WKD.

That just leaves, Striker 3, should I let him go?
Lukaku! No, I will not let you go. (He's a troll!)
Lukaku! I will not let you go. (He's a troll!)
Lukaku! I will not let you go. (He's a troll!)
Will not let you go. (Such a troll!)
    Never, never let you go
    Never let me go, oh.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Oh, Romelu, Oh Romelu (Oh Romelu, you will not go.)
OH FANTASY, has created such a mess for me, for me, for me.

So I've chosen my front three with no Kun and Vardy
I appreciate this could prove to be foolhardy
Oh baby, give me green arrows, baby,
Gameweek fourteen, please Lord just give me some green.

    (Oh, yeah, oh yeah)

    Nothing really matters,
    Except Fantasy.
    Nothing really matters,
    Nothing really matters to me.

Philippe Coutinho will discover his injury fate on Tuesday, amid fears his hamstring problem may be more serious than first thought.

The Liverpool midfielder, who has been pivotal in the club’s resurgence under Jurgen Klopp, limped out of the 4-1 triumph at Manchester City with his manager at first believing it could have been mere cramp.

But after medical checks at Melwood yesterday, the Reds are likely to get a second opinion before offering a plan of treatment, and that raises worries the hamstring could be damaged, meaning he would miss Thursday’s Europa League game against Bourdeaux.

Watching highlights of Spurs. Apart from the howler Kane missed Kane didn't do much did he? How long do we expect him to luck out? First goal was a tad fortunate and second was shocking defending. Yes he may be scoring goals but he surely can't get this lucky constantly. He is a good player but if this 'streak' continues I may get him in.

Please don't say he hasn't been lucky as I am sure his owners will admit he has been a tad fortunate. He reminds me Chaldi. Eriksen looks the business though.

The whole luck thing is simply not true. The quality of defending in the PL is garbage. If teams don't man mark him, he will continue to score.

There came a stage towards the end of last season, and the beginning of this season, where he became man marked and struggled to score. Nothing to do with having all the luck. It's football.

FPL success is often defined by what stop of a bandwagon you finally hop on. The more successful managers find the vehicle before its first stop and the stubborn ones walk.

On Coutinho, whatever the press says, you can visibly see him mutter an obscenity as he limps off. Even if he won't be out long-term I think that playing him vs an already damaged Swansea would be a mistake. Don't rush back injuries that can be chronic.

I think you can read plenty into his initial reaction to an injury..I'm not saying he's done something major but seems like it would be poor management to risk him vs a Swansea that can't even keep Bournemouth at bay

        Vardy, Perez,

        Sakho, Ward, Targett

have 2 FT and 1.9 ITB.
looking to up sakho to lukaku or aguero.

        a) to get aguero i have to down from KDB to.... lanzini maybe? deulofeu? or King?
        b) for lukaku i can just downgrade kolarov to shawcross or one of the spurs defenders.
        c) or kolarov - shawcross, eriksen - king, sakho - aguero for a hit.

        thanks
