Just minutes after the final whistle blew on Gameweek 21, Jonty, Andy and myself braved the airwaves to pick the bones out of our meagre midweek tallies.

Brought back down to earth by a decidedly lacklustre floodlit affair, we rouse ourselves to debate the Aguero armband, the rapidly increasing speed of the Payet bandwagon and the theories behind the stuttering United backline.

We even make our dedication to the departed David Bowie, before quickly ushering out our disappointment of the Gameweek just past by previewing the one that lies ahead.

      I don't care for Defoe in there. I'd be looking to get Sanchez when he's back in place of Ramsey. I'd consider Antonio as well. Good team though, its well balanced.

    Personally I think it needs work. No Lukaku is asking for trouble, given Everton's fixtures after Chelski. You have to have one of Lukaku or Kane imo (at least one). Sagna will be subject to rotation with Zab, and City's defence is unreliable. I'd look to downgrade Sagna, and upgrade Defoe. You'll also leave yourself a benching headache. Maybe Alli, Defoe and Defoe for Stan, Lukaku and a cheap defender if that works?

      Yeah I'm trying to make up some points in my ML and nobody above me has Lukaku so it won't hurt me there, Defoe is definitely a punt though. Good point with Sagna.

        Thanks Live Lad. I'm still looking at changing this midfield but just can't bring myself to drop Mahrez KDB Ozil before these fixtures.
        I've tinkered a bit and could do Kane>> Deeney and Mahrez >> Sanchez at a later date. Happy with Defence and yes Sagna a short term plan.

        hes averagin +- 7 pts ppg thats with many shortened appearance where he wasn't fully fit , hardly a poor return with neither him nor city near optimal levels the whole time

    It would mean ditching KDB, Ozil, Mahrez and Ighalo over the next couple of weeks but I think whichever way this will end up my worst ever season so trying to get a few small differentials in to the rest of my mini league and at least make it a bit more interesting.

    I'm actually benching Lukaku but not too sure, since he's got something to prove against his former club.

        Ohh.. never thought about him.. but indeed Stoke is hard to break.
        But if any ARS gonna score, I can see it from set-pieces and Ozil is the one who take set-pieces.

          Yeah, its tough decision, can go either way.
          Cant bench any of the forwards as they are against shaky defense. Same stands for Payet, Alli, KDB and Mahrez. Maybe flip a coin 😛
