Just minutes after the final whistle blew on Gameweek 21, Jonty, Andy and myself braved the airwaves to pick the bones out of our meagre midweek tallies.

Brought back down to earth by a decidedly lacklustre floodlit affair, we rouse ourselves to debate the Aguero armband, the rapidly increasing speed of the Payet bandwagon and the theories behind the stuttering United backline.

We even make our dedication to the departed David Bowie, before quickly ushering out our disappointment of the Gameweek just past by previewing the one that lies ahead.

    @ Jose Magic omelette: you say that aguero has not been performing well and others will outscore him average wise but i would dtraw your attention to the fact that he is averaging virtually identical to lukaku at a ppg of approximately 6.7 and signifcantly higher than kane whos around 5.0 ppg.Thats with his injury problems and the stop start nature of his season where he has made many cameos and shortened appearences where he hasnt really had time to get into the games fully.Now hes not good value compared to lukaku but you probably want to have both definitely since aguero can definitly still improve his ppg more signifacntly then lukaku could now one would suspect. Especialliy with all the budget mids enabling us to have kun as well without comprimising the rest of our squad, I am optimistic about owning him.

      Price-tag of £13.2, the other two less are £9.3 and £9.9 and I know he's been injured and had cameos but there's been 21 game weeks and he's had attacking returns in only 5

        well hes missed 7 games outright that leaves 14 "full" games and he still retains an impressive ppg. Also now he is fully fit so he will be playing for longer and is also generally looking sharper then he was earlier in the season imo. I fully expect him to kick on now.

                  Fairly based on both players this season, Payet is the better player both for goals and assists. Seasons gone by should not be used, see Hazard for example?

                      We could go at this for hours haha, Ramsey needs to show more consistency for me, to many blanks between the hauls.

                      I do see your point of view though, and I guess being a Hammers fan makes me biased. Maybe we should resume this chat end of season...after Payet has won the golden boot of course :p
