The Scout Cups Reminder

Just a very brief reminder that entry for both the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XII and Fantasy Football Scout Members Cup VI is set to close at 9am on Tuesday morning. Once that deadline has passed, we’ll process the results and will then announce the qualifiers and First Round draw on Wednesday afternoon.

Prior to that, we’ll also try to give an early indication on the likely qualifying scores on Monday evening or as early as possible on Tuesday.

To enter the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XII, all you have to do is fill out the entry form here.

Fantasy Football Scout Members can also enter the Members Cup VI via this entry form.

You will be asked to verify your FPL team ID – note that, if you fail to confirm your ID, you will not be entered. You will be sent a confirmation email to verify your entry.

    I'm looking at Mahrez's prospects against Stoke this GW. Over the last 8 GWs Stoke have kept 4 clean sheets and conceded 8 goals. The 4 clean sheets were all against team above them in the table: MCI, WHU, MUN & ARS. The goals were conceded against lower teams.

    I haven't watched Stoke play at all, but would I be right in saying that they are setting themselves up differently to the top teams, and doing an excellent job at keeping them out? They've been cutting loose a bit more to the lesser teams, with mixed results.

    On that basis, Mahrez' prospects at the weekend are not so good and maybe now is the time to go: Mahrez -> Payet?

    B. Evans 4.8 (AVL SWA) - one of the best defenders for goal threat in last 4 matches

      Yeah, I don't see any incredible options popping up. I guess Payet could be worth ditching Mahrez for, but I'd prefer to get him in for someone else.

      I think Leicester will bounce back again. They've got a thin squad and I think the Christmas fixture on-slaught have been tough on them.

      No Spurs fullback is safe. Poch will always rotate occasionally and he makes a point of rewarding good performances with more pitch time, so although Walker still looks to be preferred over Trippier there's always risk that Trips will get a run of starts.

          No, he's nowhere near his previous form.. Passing was horrible, didn't provide any through ball to Vardy. Won't be on PK anyway and fixtures turning red for him..
          I might be wrong in dropping him but with the bunch of over-performing budget-MID, I would not hesitate to drop him

      Targett has been playing over Tadic. Davis isn't Tadic's replacement. He has been playing a lot.
